Not going to lie... This is my favorite Clark/Superman.... His Charm, Smarts, and Charisma is just something the others after him do not Have especially as Clark Kent. He even has fun with his powers at times, and eats like a pig with all the sweets he buys lol. In Smallville it's always Lex and his parents hell even his friends teaching him things in some way, shape or form. Here even though he wasn't Superman yet he was well travelled, had a handle on his powers, and very knowledgeable to the point Lex was impressed with him, and he figured out Lex was behind everything before everyone else did. The show is kiddy compared to Smallville, and Superman & Lois, but I don't mind. I believe it gets better if you decide to keep at it 😁

I never realized it before but this show really reminds me of Superman the animated series which I’ve just started rewatching along with Justice League Unlimited . I like the dynamic of Clark & Lois in this version & just compared to Smallville I like seeing them build up Clark & Lois’s work relationship at the planet . It’s just fun in every iteration

"I don't know how this is going to cure people" this isn't that weird, our space station ISS study diseases like cancer and virus, microbes, animals, etc... because they act differently in a zero gravity environment which can lead to discoveries and cures

The story of Clark's adopted parents was retconned a few times over the years. Originally in Superman #161 (May 1963), Superman's adopted parents, Jonathan and Martha Kent, die shortly after he graduates from high school. They caught a plague disease after handling a pirate's treasure chest while on vacation in the Caribbean. Before dying, Jonathan tells Clark to use his powers for the good of humanity. Clark then moves to Metropolis to attend college. In post-Crisis continuity, they both remain alive even after Clark becomes an adult, being supporting characters until Jonathan's death during an attack by the supervillain Brainiac. This story line was in effect until 2011. Actually 9:00 PM in a fairly typical start time for an elitist social event party. The snake scene was Luther challenging himself. In the original script there were other scenes of Luthor challenging himself by combat with a samurai and immersing himself in a shark tank. These were cut due to budget over run. The dinner from China that Clark got had fortune cookies. Fortune cookies are an American invention not done in China.
