The time you stop reacting to Doctor who is when you stop getting Patreon money from me 🤷♂️

I love that even if you don’t know why or what’s going on in the end Doctor who still gets you emotional that’s why it’s great 😂 the bad wolf thing I liked even tho it was kinda quick how they resolved it but I like that we did get some stuff unresolved like Jack being alive and left behind, then are the Dalicks really gone ? . Rose becoming a god for like 2 mins was awesome & I love how much the doctor & rose care about each other

I have enjoyed the Who reactions & should you continue I would be on board, but I say only if you're into it.
I started watching Doctor who with series 1 & I was very iffy on it. I wasn't use to the Bitish quirkyness so there were things I liked & things I didn't. All during series 1 I kept asking why am I still watching this then sometime into series 2 I realized I stopped asking that & began enjoying it, & going back over series 1 it still has some flaws but I enjoy it more now then when I first saw it now that I'm more used to it

I think the ending with Rose works, because it's not strictly that she became the Tardis or that the Tardis could do these things. Keep in mind, she looked into the heart of the Tardis, yes, but what was in the heart of the Tardis? The time vortex, which is the dimension the Tardis travel through to reach any point in time and space. Think of it like water with a jet ski.
Rose had the whole of time and space running through her head; or at least a very strong link to it. This explains, at least in part, the paradoxical nature of "Bad Wolf". The Daleks technically used it first apropos of nothing; and because of that, Rose takes those words to leave her a trail back to the place where she's got the time vortex in her head and is confronting the Daleks. Her reaching that conclusion is a little bit of a leap; it's not like Rose figured out that this meant she would become god of time or whatever, but she knew the words were a link between her and the Doctor and by virtue of that she shouldn't give up. And she ended up being right.
It's a little deus ex machina, but it was going to be something, right? And that's where I think the timing worked out, that they did need to reveal Rose alive in the last episode, because that would have been a much shorter timeframe to get her home and have her trying to find a way back if we still thought she was dead at the start of the episode.
I don't think it was rushed, because Rose finding a way back made up a significant part of the episode; and her determination lead to the desperate measure to open up the Tardis console, like in the earlier episode.

I like the finale. it's so hard to look at it in the singular perspective, the way I did when it first came out. I mean, for one this, it was quite a while ago now, which itself is wild. But on top of that - I do genuinely like it, I think it's a good episode and finale; I like 9's departure. But I can't help but think about everything that happens next; and how much better it gets. Which isn't to say that this is bad by comparison; it just expands from here and none of that would be possible without this as its foundation.
is every episode a winner? No, but that can be subjective too. There are episode that I think were bad that some reactors or friends actually really like; just as you didn't necessarily liked every episode that was a fan favorite.

She has said that she has no interest in the old series, so as long as nothing is spoiled past the episodes she has watched, you should be ok.

It would be awesome if you watch season 2 as David Tenant is my childhood hero, and I would love it if you watched his first season because it's one of the best and the man is a legend! Fun fact: according to some people, the reason why Chris left was because he and Russell T Davis had a fallout, which is a shame because he might have become of one the actors to play the character.

I 100% would love to see you continue Doctor Who! Besides being a Whovian, I usually really enjoy your reactions; going back to the Buffy days. I was thrilled when you start the Stargate franchise (and even more thrilled when you actually loved it), because it gave me a reason to come back to your reactions after Buffy ended. I'm fairly certain I've subscribed previously, within the last year or two and stopped only when I was a little tight on money.
The second I saw you were reacting to Doctor Who I went straight to Patreon and subscribed. Would that mean I would stop the minute you stop reacting to Doctor Who? Not necessarily right away, as I have found a few other gems either in your library or are newly coming out.

Yes, I would definitely like you to continue (to at least see the start of the David Tennant run, and the first few seasons are only 13 episodes.)
Also there is a Christmas Special episode, hence the name that appeared at the start of the credits - would that be a spoiler, before season 2 begins). This happens before every season start. (Of course, you may already know this - I believe its technically Season 2 Episode 0)

Hopefully, this won't be considered spoilers for (original 1963-89) Classic Doctor Who should you ever delve into the original long-running series, but I just took a look, and in the very first Dalek story way back in 1963, where the Daleks were seemingly killed off for good for the first time... only return 15 more times since in Classic Who, due to there popularity back then, making them the main villains of 16 Doctor Who stories overall in Classic Who... Also, what do Daleks say when they're randy... "Ex-sperm-min-ate!" lol

I'd love to see you continue if you chose to do so.
Others have mentioned here, and you commented on it at the end of the episode but there's an episode before the first episode of season 2.

Yes, all but Jack are dead on the station and so are many humans on earth. RIP Australia
As a massive Whovian I would like you to continue.
If you do continue, the way the seasons work is that they have 1 season then a Christmas special. It's a bridge between seasons and really should be watched before you go into the next season.
It wasn't Rose who scattered Bad Wolf across time and space it was the Tardis itself that did it.
This season was full of ups and downs, Christopher in an interview in the last 12 months said the main reason for him leaving was because behind the scenes there was a lot of infighting and disagreements on where to go with the season, and I think that was a big reason why it was topsy turvy.
This ranking is NOT based on the story lines or how good the seasons are but about the portrayal of the Doctor by the Actor themselves and sorry Christopher you are 3rd place (and only gets 3rd place because he is the first of the modern doctors, would have been No.5 otherwise) I am not going to put the ranks of anyone else until at least their run ends, but is also depending on if this journey continues ;)

And we are outta here! The first season is in the books, in the pocket, out of sight, and I just want you to know you (Shan) were fantastic, and d’ya know what?… So was we the fanbase, The Whovians who kept you (mostly) spoiler free and gave you great insight into one of the UK’s greatest gifts to the world (including Australia, unless it’s 200’000 years in the future when it’s all but ruined) So here’s my fun facts series finale wrap up.
According to his book The Writer's Tale, Russell T Davies planned to keep the departure of Christopher Eccleston a secret until the surprise regeneration. However, soon after the broadcast of The Unquiet Dead, the third episode of the season, the BBC's press office prematurely announced Eccleston's departure, (who does that?!) which was followed several weeks later by confirmation that Tennant had been signed as the new Doctor, thereby removing both elements of surprise from the episode.
This is the first time the Doctor, or any Time Lord for that matter, is seen regenerating standing up, as previous Doctors collapsed before regenerating. This would later become the norm.
Interestingly, David Tennant played Barty Crouch Jr. in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, the chapter he first appears in is called The Parting of the Ways. Both characters Tennant plays emerge after a person the rest of the characters are familiar with change their appearance.
According to Russell T Davies in Doctor Who Magazine, Jack was left behind because they wanted to explore the effects of the regeneration on Rose (noting that Jack would have taken the regeneration "in his stride"
David Tennant's portion of the regeneration scene was actually filmed much later than Christopher Eccleston's and without the presence of Billie Piper. Tennant's segment was recorded with him speaking to a piece of sticky tape indicating Piper's eyeline and then edited into the broadcast version.
Russell T Davies wanted to reunite Jackie with modern-day versions of her friends Bev, Sarah Clark and Suzie, who had been seen as young women in Father's Day. With the help of Jackie's boyfriend, Rodrigo, they would link their vehicles together to open the TARDIS console. This sequence was later replaced with the more straightforward introduction of the tow truck which Jackie borrowed from the now-unseen Rodrigo.
Sooo what did you think of the first series? Some ups? some downs? Please give it a Rosenbaum rating. It gets 2 roses from me. And the finale episode gets 3 roses.
Personally I would love to have you watch the rest of Nu-Who because the very first episode I watched and hooked me ever since you haven’t seen yet.
Without it we wouldn’t have the excellent David Tennant run or the even better Matt Smith era.
