2024-08-16 17:39:22 +0000 UTCBurn Notice was a favourite of mine. It was 1 of the big 3 for USA Network at the time, Psych and Monk being the other two. Why all the bikini clad women, it came down to demographics. When these shows were airing the main demo was 17-24 males, because that is who predominately watched these types of shows and TV in general. Then came along the reality TV era and that demo has now flipped and the demo they aim for is 17-24 females because that is who spends the money on things they see in adverts. So if this show was created now you would mostly see shirtless men, it wouldn't bother me I would be fine with either. Lets talk about the supporting actors, yes Bruce Campbell this show actually revitalized his career, Sam Axe, ex-marine, as they said uses rich divorcee's to provide his comforts. Gabrielle Anwar, Fiona, Works/worked for the IRA (Irish Republican Army) very bad people! Gabrielle got massacred for her horrendous Irish accent in this first episode. Most famous role was in Scent of a Woman where she danced with Al Pacino. Sharon Gless, Madeline Westen, mother and hypochondriac, chain smoker, and a pain in Michael's butt. Sharon is most well know as Cagney in Cagney & Lacey ran for 7 seasons and spurned 4 made for TV movies.
