Yeah, still not happy about the Danial Johnny thing, I put a more blame on Daniel if for no other reason than he should know better. Mr. Miyagi would be disappointed. I feel the same way about Sam. I still say Tory has been wrong in 95% of the conflicts and I get her motivations but it doesn't excuse her actions. BUT, Sam should be better. Terry Silvers as a character is confusing. At first he is shown as repentant. He then seems like he is only doing this because he wants to help children. Now he is almost back to the slime balls he was in the movie, putting toxic waste in playgrounds. Not quite but close. His character has shifted too quick without motivation. This is bad writing to me. Its really my only writing complaint in series so far (except to the flip flip on Danial/ Johnny relationship). No horrible but lazy. Tory came, hat in hand (so to speak) in this case, you BE the better person. You give them a chance, you watch, and if betrayed then respond, but otherwise, you continue to help. Its what you do!

2024-10-16 14:32:53 +0000 UTCYeah, Johnny and Daniel can't seem to go for a season, or even a number of episodes in a row, on the same page. This show definitely likes playing around with that dynamic. Once things seem good, they pull the rug out again. I guess it's to remind us that they are rivals and likely always will be. With Tory, yeah Sam was being harsh with her but can you blame her, considering everything that was done to her? I would be very mistrustful of her as well.

2024-10-16 00:29:15 +0000 UTCRoby took the spirit out of hawk by leading Cobra Kai, and cutting Eli's hair lol. Daniel couldn't even say anything when he seen him. All he said was... "I can't judge... I did some F'd up stuff too" and just told him some of Roby's future with silver that already came true when it came to showing him moves. My comments about Sam, and Tory from episode 1 of season 4 all the way to 6 to the end of this video.... I rest my case. What I will say though is that..... Even though Sam has been seeing Johnny's side more, and wanting to be more like him lately, and hasn't been getting along with her folks especially with her mother helping Tory now; it's good that Sam still decided to stay with Miyagi do still. They wrote this episode about Johnny needing a new girl for the girls competition in the karate tournament. The writers could've easily gotten lazy, and predictable with it, but they didn't. They kept it fresh. Another example... After Daniel spoke to Roby about silver, and as the episode was about to end Miyagi do needed another strong male warrior, and they kept a close up on Daniel's face saying "Well guess whose back" with a warming smile, and instead of Roby it turned out to be Hawk, because of all the work Demetri put in to convince him of their friendship still. Not only that, but you would think hawk would've returned to Johnny's class. So I think those were 3 great twists in the episode. Good job writers. Believe it or not I'm clapping for you as I'm typing this 😂
