2024-11-18 18:07:00 +0000 UTCPoor Lionel, took 99 episodes, and getting shot multiple times to be brought up to speed. I always found it a little surprising that Root didnt recognize Shaw right away when she sniped the Samaritan guy, considering shes obsessed with her. Its been so long since we had the full team together. Great to see them all back together. Also, the episode the voice was from is episode 3x15. Its the one where the voice wanted a 911 operator to delete all the files from the past couple days.

As we see the main characters look out into the city preparing for the final battle, all I think about how Carter is the only main character who didn't make it to this point. And I think about all the characters, good, and bad, that are now gone: Anthony, Control, Simmons, Quinn, Dominic. It's been a long road and this last scene of the characters really capture the journey they've been on, and all the people they have touched.

2024-11-05 22:52:41 +0000 UTCLionel finally getting a yellow box was about 2 seasons overdue but still made me so happy. The original Voice episode was in season 3 I think, before the episode where we saw the guy Finch had before Reese. This episode was much better than that one. I agree with Elias, Finch knew Elias would do something like what he did. Michael's face in that scene was great, like Finch was silently coming to terms that he's sanctioning things he never thought he would in the past. I'm surprised there was no simulation in which Root pulled a gun on herself because that was very on brand for Root. Great end scene. Now on to episode 100.
