Max ran up to the breaker switch and used his alien powers to blow the lights which strained his heart.
If his hand was on the breaker switch, why the hell didn't he just throw the switch.
The shooter would have to run down to that switch to turn it back on again.
Silly stupid Max.

I was worried you lost the "TV shows gotta TV show" button for a second there.
Oh, wow, that preppy look that Rosa has is...something. Ah, more racist people, that's...that's just great(deep sigh).
That's kind of a cool invitation, I haven't seen your reactions to Supernatural or Arrow(yet), I kind of get nervous watching people's reactions to Arrow, because I liked Felicity, not Olicity, but Felicity on her own and a lot of people hate Felicity, so I end up avoiding reactions to Arrow. But anyway, it's cool seeing the girl from Arrow and Supernatural here, randomly meeting Rosa in a cave.
Yeah, it would be difficult to figure out how to take medication for Rosa, but they can work on finding ways. I feel like the bigger problem for Rosa getting help, is the fact that she's supposed to be dead and can't talk about a lot of things in her life, that she probably needs to talk about.
Maria seems to have strong abilities, but they get weaker when she wears something that blocks alien abilities, that's interesting.
I really like that their looking for Cameron now, I hope they find her soon, so she can be back on the show.
Mysterious lady, she does look like Sara Lance and has a deep voice. It's Charlie!, were finally meeting Cameron's sister.
I completely understand that Maria wants to learn about her abilities and herself, but I also understand why Michael is worried about that, it could hurt her.
Jesse Manes is back, cool, although I feel like I can tolerate him a lot more now, after meeting Liz and Rosa's mother.
Hey Charlie, don't judge Liz and Max, Liz can totally have a boyfriend and still be a brilliant scientist. Also, Charlie's not wrong about things people are scared of being dangerous, no matter what the intention behind them.
Manes is really sticking with the whole, the 'hates gone out of me' stuff, he doesn't even seem that bothered having a conversation with Max, who he used to think was a monster and enemy he needed to destroy. I want to believe he's different, but I just don't know.
I like how much Michael wants to help both DeLuca's. Maria's nose bleeding, that can't be a good sign.
A demonic laugh? Okay, yep, I think heard it, why is that ride running when the place isn't open. Yay, we got Cameron back.
I'm glad that Michael came around on Maria exploring her abilities, but I am still worried about that nosebleed.
She said Rosa...oh, it was a drug induced hallucination, Rosa is not doing well, also, I'm kind of disappointed that the girl wasn't real. I thought they were introducing a love interest for Rosa, who could push her towards art and away from drugs maybe.
Charlies gone, she didn't even talk to her sister, that's kind of sad.
Maria gave Rosa her necklace, to help suppress her powers, that's nice, so she can go to rehab then and get help. Also, great acting from the two of them Jeanine(Liz) and Amber(Rosa) again.
Roswell, back to the good endings again, Charlie trying to go to Deep Sky, to help her sister, now both her and possibly Max might be disappearing. Liz looks like she's going back to alien research, despite saying she wouldn't, but I do understand, it could help so many people and save lives. Sanders turns out to be Walt, wow, that was a surprise.

Rosa's addiction to alcohol and drugs was most likely caused by her being bipolar. It's common for people with bipolar disorder to self-medicate. Some medications can actually help with both. It's not an easy balancing act for doctors or patients, but it can be done. Most doctors will attempt to manage both through outpatient or inpatient therapy.
Maria seeing Isobel's mom in a vision is interesting. I like that Maria has powers in this version of the show. It gives her more involvement with the story.
Michael's connection to Walt is a fun twist. That little reveal made me want to see the next episode right away.
