A few notes 1. McKay finds out that the alternate team died cause they never figured out how to fix the problem and he panics thinking they will suffer the same fate ....Yeah ...That'd be funny ..OUR. team dies too and we spend the rest of the season focussing on a completely new team 2. Teyla and Ronon are searching the cargo bay looking for food ...Apparently everything is gone and they're worried about starving before fixing the problem ...Me ..Having watched The Walking Dead the other day and knowing there's several dead bodies of alternate people in storage ...I may have an idea ..But you're not gonna like it 3. The "closed lens" shot you kept seeing of Sheppard ...I can explain that ...Sheppard was looking out of the bridge window of the ship ...Much like how some shots of McKay were kind of blocked off by the controls he was sitting at ...The side of the bridge window kinda blocked off some of the shot simulating that the shot was taken from outside looking in ...I suppose it was a creative decision from the person who directed the episode ..A decision that confused you I guess 4. You: "I guess there's just a Daedalus out there that's constantly jumping universes" ...Nah ...McKay said the ship only had a few more jumps left before the drive would burn out ...But it's an interesting concept ..Able to travel from one universe to the next ...Finding out what the differences are ....In the original script one of the jumps apparently would have led the team to find a version of Atlantis where the Ancients won the war with the Wraith and had never abandoned the city ...But it didn't quite fit within the episode ...Probably since it would require them explaining why Atlantis wasn't on it's original planet anymore and just HAPPENED. to be on the same random planet we went to
