She made up fake numbers for his stats. Sure he has the right to remove medical devices if he wants, but he didn’t want to until she told him she was doing it. I’m not talking about legally here, i’m talking about ethically

No ones goes to prison of a difference of opinion. Keeping in mind, a patient has the right to have an implanted device removed or disconnected as their will.

They stated it was in NO WAY related to the LVAT wire or heart replacement. That he had blood clot issues for years. Add to it that Denny agreed to let her cut the LVAD wire, knowing full well the possible consequences. Denny has the right to have medical equipment removed from his body if he no longer wants them. If you want, research how many doctors get convicted of manslaughter each year, even in cases where malpractice is proven. Its incredibly rare.

She wasn’t even near him when she was saying it. When Burke suspected her of lying and asked for the tests, that’s when she cut the wire so she could “prove” he was getting worse.

I'm bald, so any hair is good hair LoL Bodies that are donated to hospital are there for training and practice. Also, unclaimed bodies (no friends or relatives) can legally be used for surgery practice. If a person can't afford a burial the hospital may pay relatives for the burial if they allow for use of body. Also, he could practice closing patients that died in surgery or post autopsy. Alex is a dick most of the time. He has his moments, but he just doesn’t know how to say things and not be a dick doing it. I wonder if Derek giving up Meredith so she could be happier is why she picked Derek in the end. I get what Cali is saying to George, but still, when a friend is in need. If Cali was going thru something, then I would get, he should help her first. But this was just going for a night of sex. As for the two of them living together. Maybe George just isn’t ready for a committed relationship with her yet. She seems to feel he needs to rush to get the level she is at instead of her waiting for him to catch up. Well, looks like Denny had some money. It’s also possible Denny put her in his will. During hospital stays that involve dangerous surgeries. The hospital has lawyers that can do will updates for you. and his parents want to give it to Izzy. But damn, 8.7 million USD, wow. That’s 13.8 million AUD.

2025-01-21 21:29:33 +0000 UTCI didn't get around to posting last week so here it is for 3x3. Just to reiterate, Izzy cut the LVAT wire. Denny did not die as a result of that. In fact, he received a new heart as a result of it. Something in his best interest. She never claimed she didn’t cut it, so she didn’t lie. She accurately reported his stats to Burke, who relayed those stats to the Transplant Authority. Again, no lie or fraud. Denny died of a blood clot to the brain. A condition they said he had for years. While what she did is unethical and immoral, it is not illegal. There is no crime. The little girl’s super power is she doesn’t feel pain, hmmm, I wonder if Deadpool will call her Francis. Hey, Cali’s patient is the werewolf hunter from Buffy.

2025-01-21 20:50:38 +0000 UTCLMAO yes Bailey's hair gets better. I can't remember exactly when (this is only my 2nd time watching most of these episodes), but yes it does. I hate to say it because i love bailey but it's honestly never amazing (my headcanon is that she as a character just never has time to do her hair), but this is by far the worst look she has imo. It at least gets decent. I'm not sure if it's just an awful wig right now or if they made her look like Dora the Explorer all the time while they were filming, but it is god awful. Well that was probably the most dramatic cigarette lighting ever. How convenient that we now have a world class plastic surgeon. It's fun that Mark is staying around though. Not sure how choreographed that was for you, but I didn't expect him to stay and join the hospital when I was first watching I don't think. Is every doctor in this hospital distracted and making bad decisions at all times? Didn't give burke the chance to tell him about his hand before Cristina came and answered for him. I love high Meredith. She's a bit overexaggerated with her acting, but I still enjoy it. I love that everyone goes to Bailey for advice even though she's just a resident. She gave great advice to Addison too, if you don't count the shade she threw at her at least. I really enjoyed the talk between Meredith and Addison, even if Meredith won't remember it. Really shows Addison in a new light I think. Yeah... I don't really care about the Denny Sr. stuff either. I'd like to just be done with this storyline please. It does make sense why they showed it though, considering the ending bombshell I think. Yep... $8.7 million... Not exactly a punishment for doing what she did is it.
