Dang, were really wrapping things up quickly. Charlie, Max and the bomb got taken care of quickly. I feel like we really need to worry about Maria though. Like I said in the last episode, I think I quite like Gregory Manes. Wow, they actually killed Jesse Manes, I'm sure all his sons will have mixed feelings about that, despite how terrible he was. So Maria is going to be alright then? That's good and also wrapped up quickly. I really like that scene with Max and Isobel, that was a nice scene, Isobel really has become her whole self this season, not under the influence of her husband anymore, which is great to see. I'll be totally honest, I don't know if I loved her entirely during season 1, but I really do like her this season. Breaking stuff, a great way to let out your anger and find something to further the storyline. So Charlie's just gone again, well that does seem like Charlie, kind of not great for having a relationship with your sister though. Ooh, love...oh, breakup, well okay then. Man, I really wish they had written hospital girl better, I feel bad for Kyle, but I really wish I cared a lot more. Diego, why do you have to be so nosy and annoying. So there's someone out there that Nora and Louise are worried about, also I kind of like this unexpected love story with Nora and Trip. I see the points being made in the comments and it's true, it was dangerous for Liz to be doing this work, it was unlikely that she would be able to protect the aliens forever, from people trying to find out where it all came from. But I am still angry at Max for going for the nuclear option immediately, there had to have been a better way, he didn't even try any other options, he just went straight to the nuclear option and destroyed all of her work and her lab, work that could have saved countless lives. I know we don't know those lives, but they are still people. Also, Max has done a lot to Liz and her family to protect his, so I'm kind of annoyed by his decision. Even if I understand his thinking and know that it fits his character to make rash decisions to protect his family. Nora went through so much in that place, I hate it. Oh, Charlie is here, yes, stay and be a sister Charlie. It's good that Rosa is going back to rehab. I was going to say, good for Alex still managing to somehow believe in redemption after his dad, then he said that great line about Kyle, so yeah...that was a good one and true. Yep, that was poetry guy and that was a great song from Alex. To be fair I don't think Michael has ever stopped thinking about Alex. I guess Liz was able to save one life at least and made a difference for her and for Kyle. I really liked that scene with Rosa going to see her mother, telling her she loved her, telling her to leave and to get better, I hope she does both. Max didn't try to stop Liz from leaving and also Max has a doppelganger. I agree, I think even though I love the original, New Mexico is better. I also think season 1 was better, but I think there was some great character stuff this season, maybe better than season 1, just maybe some mixed opinions about storyline building and pacing this season. The actress who plays Nora, I felt bad for her character at the beginning of Vampire Diaries but I didn't particularly like her character, but I do like her on this. I can't fully remember every character I've seen her play, but I feel like she often gets cast to play a character with an attitude, whose also, I don't know, kind of a bit whiny or something. But on this, she gets to play, a character that feels like an adult and gets to care about others. I don't know, best way I could describe it without fully remembering every character I've seen her play.

Tyler Blackburn (who plays Alex) is a musician and has other stuff if you are at all interested. i really love the music on the show and have been waiting for this episode so you could hear it too.

She would know that it would be impossible to keep their secret and work on ANY project that would save lives. The government isn't big on letting people test trial drugs without knowing every single detail of the study.

2025-01-30 17:08:18 +0000 UTCI'm on Max's side with his decision to destroy Liz's lab Although he did have his ulterior motives with getting more of the drug that gives him memories of the past Liz has been acting EXTREMELY. naive saying she can protect everyone and that Max needs to trust her If someone found Liz's lab then what the fuck is she gonna do?!? She's SEVERELY. overestimating her ability to protect the people she loves!! Liz puts Max, Isobel, Michael, Maria and Rosa's life in danger just cause she figures she can use the alien DNA to save lives all the while keeping their secret safe from prying eyes of big powerful companies and governments Which ...Noble cause to cure the world of diseases ..But still she ...PURPOSEFULY... Puts the people she claims to love in danger How fucked up is that? Nah ...Max was right to destroy the lab ...Better the evidence is destroyed rather than it being out there for people who can't be trusted to get their hands on it and in turn perhaps go after Max and the rest and have them end up on a table to get dissected That lab should have BEEN. gone the moment Max came back to life I mean ...What's more important? The people you love OR. curing people you've never even met ....I'm sorry ...Maybe I'm a dick for saying this since there's only very few people I care about ...But I'd choose the people I love over the ones I don't ..EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Even IF. it'd mean billions of people could potentially die from diseases that COULD. be cured But again ...Technically Max didn't do it for the right cause either ...He wanted to get more of the drug ...So he's NOT. entirely in the right either So you said Max was being a dick? ....I don't think so ...He just chose the people he loves over the lives of the people he doesn't know --- After speaking to you about this in voice --- SHOULD Max have told Liz about the potential break-in? ..Sure ..But then he wouldn't have been able to score more of the drug .....But also ...Didn't Liz boldly claim she'd be able to protect their secret? ...The lab almost got broken into ..Where was Liz? ..Oh that's right ..She was serving fries at the Crashdown For someone who got so upset every time Max called her out on her bullshit ..She wasn't even the first to know her lab almost got broken into by her ex ..Hell she wasn't the second person either And yeah you can give Max shit for that and say he should've gone to Liz first ...But SHE should have been on top of things ..She said she could protect everyone But nah ..It was Max who had Cameron spy on Liz's ex and found out he was going to break into the lab.. And it was Max who then did what Liz SHOULD. have done all along and he cleaned up HER mess And now she's run off to California cause it seems she took the offer to work for the company that literally tried to break into her secret lab ..Yeah this'll go great! Liz is making all the smart decisions it seems /sarcasm
