I don’t get why Daniel is so upset about Mr. Miyagi having fought in the Sekai Taikai or that someone died.
Mr. Miyagi has implied that he has fought in situations where death was likely.
In KK1, Mr. Miyagi while drunk talks about killing many Germans in WW2.
He also talks about fighting to stay alive at other times.
In KK2 while on plane when Daniel ask Mr. Miyagi about his fighting Sato, how do you know who wins with no refs, Miyagi says, ‘He who does die, wins.”
Also, when Daniel in fighting Chozen, Miyagi says this is fight to death.
They show students training with staffs. Karate doesn’t train you in the use of weapons.
The idea behind Karate is no weapons but your body. Karate means “Empty Hand”.
Only crap, it’s a melee fight.
I think the Sekai Taikai is over after this.
Some surprises here and some obvious.
- Kreese going after Silver with knife, I figured that.
- I heard the knife ‘clink” same as you Shan, figured it was taken or fell.
- Sam coming to help Tory, expected that.
- I liked Gargantua (the captain from Iron Dragon, Axel) coming to Sam’s rescue.
(side note: In all honesty as good as he is, he deserved to win the tournament.)
- I figured Silver would beat Kreese but I didn’t expect Johnny to come to the rescue of Kreese. I like it.
- Did NOT expect the captain of Cobra Kai to fall on the knife, I figured he would try to stab Robbie but Daniel gets stabbed protecting him.
Some excellent fight choreography here with lots of complicated one shots. Lots of kewl moves.
This will sound bad, but if someone had to get killed, the three that would bother me the least: Kreese, Silvers, or Kwon.

What an ending part 2 has really delivered. We all knew miyagi do would work through their differences eventually and I'm happy with the way it was resolved.
MVPs of part 2 were definitely the new characters introduced Zara and Axel even Kwon were all fantastic characters.
Kwon I feel is a prime example of the quote their are no bad students only bad teachers. Kreese saw his potential and exploited his natural talent feeding into his arrogance and hubris.
Kreese made him believe he was the best so when he was humiliated by Robbie and then tossed around by Axel he's unable to handle it and in a moment of blind rage he sees the knife and figures that's his way of winning. In the end it's the No mercy attitude that gets him killed falling on his own knife a poetic end.
Zara awesome character and an incredible real life martial artist. Her entitlement and arrogance means she's used to getting what she wants which is probably why its so shocking to her that Robbie would choose someone else over her. Her rivalry with Tory going into part 3 is gonna be awesome.
Axel I feel is an incredibly underrated character and probably the most interesting. On the mat he's this huge domineering presence he was easily overpowering multiple fighters but we have seen glimpses of a softer side with sam. It's honestly sad that he's unable to properly deal with his emotions towards her due to the abuse he's suffered at the hand of sensei wolf and I think this incident will affect him deeply going forward.
The iron dragons are definitely the team to beat. Axel was beating Robbie very easily before the brawl broke out and from what we've seen of zara tory wouldn't have fared much better. I do find it interesting that when Robbie switched to a more defensive style Axel became frustrated hinting at a possible weakness but I also think that while Robbie was able to beat kwon due to his clean and focused style of karate miguel would probably fare better against axel due to his more improvised style. Hopefully we get to see more in part 3.
I think kreese will have an interesting arc in part 3. knowing that it's his fault that one of his students died due to his own poor judgement and obsession with silver.
I understand how some people can say it's to late for Kreese and that redemption is impossible but I do think at the very least he should get some closure with Johnny and finally admit the mistakes he's made.
In my mind silver is the perfect antagonist and a true monster. While kreese has shown at least some remorse and genuine affection towards the people hes hurt silver has proven that time and again He has zero morality and will do almost anything to get what he wants wether it be power or revenge. He is cunning and manipulative and incredibly calculating in his actions, choosing to play a mental game as opposed to a physical one. His return brings a new level of danger to the whole tournament as his unpredictability and psychopathy make him a complete wild card and a joy to watch.
In conclusion I cannot wait for part 3.

This was definitely a great couple of episodes. In the last one, it was great to see all mending and everyone coming together. Plus, the fights were some of the best in the series.
Yes, it was chaos in this episode and it ended in tragedy. I can't say I feel too bad about Kwon though. He was about to attempt murder himself and he has done nothing throughout his arc but taunt and mess with people. Even his fighting style was annoying, Mr. Cocky on the mat, always saying come on and gesturing to his opponents.
Still though, when something like this happens, it's a wake up call. The brawl was a bad move and it ended horribly.
I literally can't wait until 2 weeks from now. I'm probably going to have to watch them all right away before your reactions. Hard to believe the end is coming. This has been so much fun!

It's a miracle this episode wasn't for accidentally spoiled for you, it was trending on twitter for a while and there were spoilers everywhere including youtube.
The new girl Zara is a 13 time taekwondo champion in real life. That's why she is so good.
Is this the most shocking mid season Finale you've experienced in a long time? What did you think?

That... Was... AWESOME!!!!!
This took me straight back to season two with Robby, and Sam the two original students training together, now captains of their dojo team.
I can't believe I didn't realize it before when those two made captains in the beginning of the season! It just finally hit me this episode.
It also took me back in season 2 with the all out fight in school with everybody just like in this episode. The crazy fall with Miguel, and the crazy ending with Kwon...
Poor Kwon... I actually liked him.. Oh well! At least it wasn't Robby or no one else from our team who got stabbed! 😁
The team up with Sam, Robby, and Tory was 😙 (Chiefs kiss)
The team up with Robby, and Miguel was 😙 (Chiefs kiss)
Iron Dragons Sensai, and male Captain are no Jokes! My boys Daniel, and Robby was hanging with them though lol
Well i think I'm done haha. Let's get to these last two episodes! 😀
