Doctor Who S03E03 - Gridlock FULL REACTION

I love BOTH your Doctor Who and Torchwood reactions. Yep, the Doctor is definitely repeating patterns. I do love seeing all the cars the Doctor jumps through shows how different everyone is. Yes, the cats are adorable. David deserves soo much praise for his acting in that last scene, he is incredible.

Interesting fact, the Macra (the giant crabs) are a villain from classic Who, all the way back to the 1960s during the era of the second doctor. The name of the story they appeared in was "The Macra Terror" and was a 4 parter, but sadly all episodes were destroyed by the BBC inbetween 1967 and 1978 because of lack of archive space, along with so many other episodes However the audio from the story and photos of the episodes survived and years later "Terror of the Macra" and several other ones were recreated in animation using the pictures and audio. Also the elderly lesbian couple were the first same sex couple I ever saw on tv and this was back in 2007 on a family programme, really brave of them to do that, nowadays it's common to put same sex couples and families on family shows, but the 2000s were quite a homophobic time so again really brave of them. I know I've said this before, but the cats people in this show are more real then the ones from the "Cats" movie, Hollywood please take note! Also the cat and the woman called the kittens "the children", that means a human woman gave birth to kittens, HOW?! Overall good episode. By the way I also love your Doctor Who and Torchwood reactions.

Just James. Patreon member. Working titles for this one were ‘Chasing Fumes’ The Macra appear for the first time in forty years. They last appeared in The Macra Terror. RTD loved the idea of bringing back an obscure monster from the 1960s. This episode aired 40 minutes late in the UK due to the BBC's coverage of the FA Cup. A so-so episode with great moments for me, The Doctor hugging novice hame then realising the last time they met she was the bad guy or bad cat person in this case, this episode gives her character a nice redemption arc looking after the Face of Bo. And that’s why I give it two roses.

I am really enjoying both Doctor Who and Torchwood reactions equally... long may they continue!!!!!
