In terms of the Criston Cole discussion, as much as I hate him I think his choices make sense. He's from a very lowly house and being a kingsguard is the best thing that could have happened to him. Him and Rhaenyra hook up and he thinks they're in love, she rejects his offer to run away together (obviously she would never accept) and now he has broken his vows for nothing, on top of that she offers to let him be 'her whore' as he puts it while married, he them is saved from suicide by Alicent and he thinks she is the epitome of holiness and grace. It is very much repressed sexuality because of being religious vibes. Also in terms of Helena (Alicents daughter) she is definlaty autistic coded, also she has 'dragon dreams' which may cause someone to seem strange, she predicts things but no one believes her, earlier she said Aemond would have to close an eye before gaining a dragon and that 'there is a beast beneath the boards', this was before Rhaenys came up though the floor with her dragon during Aegon's conrination.

2025-03-06 21:36:04 +0000 UTCOk, I'm gonna start by saying I CBA to look up the correct spelling of these character's names ATM, so I'm just gonna come up with nicknames for them but I'll make sure you get who I'm talking about. So, not Supergirl anymore seems to be the only rational human being among this current batch of royals. She was promised heir by dead king dude. Now, current ginger queen says that he said on his death bed that he wants Egg On to succeed him but I wonder how true that is. She was talked to by advisors saying that if not Supergirl anymore succeeds the king, her house and her children would be under threat. So, I think maybe she just came up with the idea of saying he said that. We didn't see/hear him saying it and supposedly, it was just him and her in the room, which is very suspect. A king on his death bed would have many servants tending to him. It seems eyepatch blonde dude and non-eyepatch blonde dude haver the same propensity for going into battle and war. Non-eyepatch wants to fight King's Landing for the crown, while not Supergirl anymore wants peace. But not after her kid died. Eyepatch went after the kid, for what? I guess we just needed a thrilling dragon sequence in an otherwise meh finale. I wasn't sure if you were going to continue with season 2. It wasn't on the schedule but thanks for confirming. Looking forward to your reactions, even though I don't comment on this show much. I think it's ok so far. Nothing on the level like GOT was before the season we shall not speak of. But we will see how season 2 turns out.
