Inheritance Progress Report: Panic, Chaos, Disorder, . . . and the light at the end of the tunnel.
Added 2019-02-28 02:08:16 +0000 UTCAs I mentioned yesterday, the day has been a bit chaotic. Today was no exception. On the up side though, at least now I have a more firm plan for the week.
Long version:
My original plan was to work hard on things today and tomorrow, then Friday was going to be me running errands, and Saturday was looking like a game day.
Today I ended up having to run an errand. It put a pretty big dent in my work time, but I still managed to drop several submitted scenes into the game today.
Tomorrow, I have money for a new computer. Going to be running out tomorrow to pick up a replacement for this one tomorrow. The computer I am currently using is prone to overheating and shutting down unexpectedly. It's likely going to take a day or two to get everything transferred over, but I'm planning to do it a little bit at a time rather than all at once. I don't expect work to be affected much, I'll keep using this computer in the meantime while the other one is set up and I get everything I need onto it.
Friday. I expected to have the money I needed for a new computer on Friday and had planned to go pick it up then. Since I'm taking care of that tomorrow, Friday should be wide open and I have every intention of working all day on Inheritance. Also will be releasing the new build of Last Stand of Ra in the evening Friday.
Saturday: I was supposed to be playing miniatures games all day Saturday. My gaming partner canceled, so that should open up the day for me. Going to make that another Inheritance day. and if all goes well, I'll be able to pull up some slack by the end of the week to make up for how little I've managed to do so far this week.

Short version:
Between computer problems and sick family, the last two weeks have been chaos. Should have a new computer tomorrow, and it looks like everyone is well on the road to recovery. I fully expect things to settle back into a relatively "normal" routine by the end of the weekend.
