News and Updates

Got quite a bit to cover in this post.  So lets get started:

Aftermath:  I haven't worked on this much since the previous post.  The coding end of things has ground to a snail's pace, and until some of that is finished, I'm not in a position to get much done on my end.  For those wanting to learn more about Aftermath, you can follow the discussion here: http://www.tfgamessite.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=7353

The Allure of Wanton Cove: With Aftermath on the back burner temporarily, I've been getting some work done on this project.  The last couple of weeks has seen almost all of the Day 2 content completed.  I've a couple of bugs to run down, and a couple of small things to write still, but once that's done, I should have a new build of the game up.  Expect something in the next week or so.  For those wondering what Wanton Cove is, you can learn more here: http://www.tfgamessite.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6127

Living the Dream:  A sandbox setting that will share a lot of the same mechanical elements as Aftermath.  However, the setting will be its own.  Set in modern day, you will control your character as you live your everyday life, trying to earn enough to pay your bills, juggle relationships, college, or anything else you choose to do.  There is some content for this project already written, but it has not been put into game format yet.  Should the coding on Aftermath continue to be slow, I'll start shifting some of my writing time to this project.  For those of you wanting to know more about Living the Dream, you can learn more here:  http://www.tfgamessite.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=8624

How this Patreon will work:

-I plan to tie all my current and future projects to this Patreon.

-Once we start to post projects to Patreon and start to receive pledges, I will make an effort to post at least once a week to update everyone on progress.

-Money pledged will help support me, and those working with me on these projects, to ease the burden of our real life responsibilities.

-If you pledge money and want a specific project worked on, let me know.  I'll keep a tally of how much is pledged to each game.  The game with the most pledged to it will be worked on the following month (As able) and that game's total will default to "0" while the others will maintain their previous total as a starting point coming into the next month.  The idea of doing it this way is that it will prevent the more popular games from receiveing ALL of the attention, ensuring that less funded projects will still see occasional progress.

-The goal will be to release an update to one of these projects once a month, though that's not a guarantee.  Its entirely possible that updates could come more, or less, often depending on what is being worked on at the time.  (In other words, if we're working on something big for a project, we're not going to rush it out just so we can hit a deadline.  We want to do it right.  Alternately, if we've hit all of our goals for progress in a month, then there's no reason not to release what we have and invest the rest of that time into something else.)
