I wanted to make sure everyone knew that I made some changes to the pledge levels. I didn't take anything away, however I did expand/clarify some things.
If I did something you dont like, feel free to say something and we can talk about it. Also, if there are things you guys would like to see offered, please say something. If I like it, I'll likely add it.
The Allure of Wanton Cove:
Got a bug report from one of my testers this morning. Nothing major, and I've already worked through the bulk of it. Waiting for a little clarification on one issue, then I'll build a new test version of the game. If everything checks out at that time, we might see a new build of the game as early as tonight. More realistically it will be either tomorrow or Saturday though.
Goals moving forward:
Going to try releasing a new Wanton Cove build about once a month from this point forward. There will be a goal of 5-10k words of new content per build. (Should not be too difficult to accomplish that considering there's been more than 15k words of new content added in the last month or so.
Any time left over after reaching my goal for Wanton Cove will be spent trying to get Inheritance up and running. Once Inheritance is to a playable point, I will release it to Patreons first, with that build becoming public when the following build is ready. My hope is to have a playable version of this up by the end of February.
Once Inheritance is to a playable state, I will start trying to release a new build of either it, or Wanton Cove once every three weeks. These updates will likely alternate for the most part.
One nice thing about when Inheritance is playable is that I have two other projects I'd like to some day do that will use (mostly) the same mechanics, so those future projects will likely be very easy to get up to speed. I plan to begin work on one of those when I am nearing completion of Wanton Cove.
