What do you think of the new art in Wanton Cove?

If there's enough interest, I'll see about commissioning additional pieces of art for the game in the future.

The background art was actually kind of complicated to add correctly (Took a couple of days, and a lot of patience to get set up correctly, however adding new pictures only takes a couple of minutes now that its all in place mechanically. It delves into javascript which is something I've been struggling to learn the basics of.). Its not something I would expect a lot of amateur game makers (Which I consider myself to be) would be able to do. Lucky for me, I know a hand full of very talented people who are happy to help, and have the amazing patience to walk me through how to do something, . . . . often more than once. If I'm being honest, probably 80-90% of all the code I use originated with someone else who was kind enough to either write the code for me outright, or at least walk me through how it was done.

2017-04-21 18:46:03 +0000 UTCI have to agree with the art adding to the mood. At this point I'd say that background art is maybe being a bit ignored in Twine/SugarCube games right now too.
