Didn't happen.
On the one hand, I didn't hit the word count I had hoped for, managing about 2500 words of content between five scenes. On the flip side, I decided to add a new mechanic to the game to track the protagonist's fragile grasp on his sanity called "Madness." Its fully in place and ready to go, even if I've only written one scene so far that is affected by it. I also rebuilt the Cheat menu so that it drops you out in the same location you activated it in instead of sending you back to your bedroom each time.
Short version: Didn't write as much as I had planned to, but wrote enough code that I feel like I accomplished more than I set out to do anyway.
Got some errands to run, some chores to do, then if time permits, I'll sit down to do a little more work on this front. If not, then I intend to invest a few hours working on this tomorrow too.
The current plan is to continue writing content through tomorrow, then once the bug fix build is up I'll shift towards writing "Madness" related content which will involve some rewrite to a lot of existing content. I figure I'll do it just like the mutation changes a few builds ago, where I work my way through a couple of groupings each build until everything on my list has been done. At a glance, I expect to work all the way through that list between now and version .9 I've got one more major scene I'd like to write for the game, then I have a list of about ten areas I need to address the "Madness" mechanic and I hope to work through at least two of those before the next major build.

Fair enough, I kind of suspected as much but wanted to be sure. I'm terrible about catching my own mistakes, so I've got to make the most of it when someone is kind enough to point things out and follow up so I know everything is fixed. Taint scenes will trigger in most of the game's primary locations any time you pass a "5" threshold (5, 10, 15, 20, 25, etc) so its not unusual for something to trigger right after fooling around with Tanya as most of her scenes will give you between 2 and 5 taint a pop.

Really love the game, especially the new Tanya scenes at high taint. I know coding can be a pain, but I've noticed that with Tanya (and the couple you sometimes encounter in the hallways that you can join), even if you have no balls, it says that you go 'balls-deep' in the person, or penetrate someone with a 'clit-like cock.' I understand it isn't game-breaking, it's just a stylistic thing that make this fantasy story slightly more believable (oh, the irony). Overall, despite anything like that, I love the game

2017-05-12 21:32:39 +0000 UTCThe problem with Taint & Mutation is that they are built into the game in such a way that it would break a lot of stuff if you started decreasing them. So adding those possibilities is very unlikely. Depravity is something that opens up options but does not have an affect on many scenes that are not specific to that mechanic, so adding a decrease to that will mostly just limit sex options in some scenes. Madness on the other hand would be fairly easy to add in that capacity. Will add that one to the list. Madness will include one bad end eventually, but mostly it will be a case of flavor text as the game progresses.
