General Progress Report:
Added 2017-05-15 02:04:02 +0000 UTCThe Allure of Wanton Cove
No bugs reported since the last build. So I'm taking it that everything is good for the latest fix build. I'm already hard at work on the next build of the game, with about 4k words of new content already added to the game and more that just needs to be coded in place.
I'm going to see what more I can get done on Wednesday, then send a test build out either that day or the next.
Lacking something unexpected, I'll have a new build up on the 26th. This will be the day after I arrive at my destination for a two week vacation. Given that I'll be spending time with family, any needed fixes might take a day or so longer than usual. On the up side (Knock on wood) there haven't been a lot of game breaking bugs in the last few builds, so hopefully there wont be anything significant.
Inheritance
No bugs reported with the latest test build. I'll be posting the version I gave testers to the rest of the Patrons towards the middle of this week. As I've mentioned before, this isn't an indicator of the game joining the regular release schedule. Instead, this is in addition to the usual Wanton Cove releases.
Everything else
Welcome to all the newcomers! There's been a surge of new patrons since I posted over on reddit, so I expect most of you are from there. For those of you who pledged, thank you, it helps a lot. For those just swinging by to take a look around, thanks for taking the time to check out The Allure of Wanton Cove, I hope you enjoy the experience.
I mentioned a couple of days ago that there were some changes of plan with my vacation next month. Looks like I'll be leaving the middle of next week instead and will likely have limited time to work on projects during that time. I will however be releasing the next build of Wanton Cove the day after I arrive though. I'm going to try for the following build towards the middle of next month, but with the trip, that might slip to the last half of the month. There's a fair chance I'll be able to maintain my normal schedule (After all, I hope to do a bit of extra writing over the next week to pull up some of the slack.) but I wanted to say something just so no one will be surprised if the following build takes a full month instead of the three weeks I usually try for.
I usually have two days a week to work on projects, rarely three. Over the next seven days, I hope to spend four of them working on things to help make up for my coming absence.
During my trip, I plan to check in as I am able. I normally check in several times a day and reply to PMs/emails/posts whenever I do, during my trip I'll likely only be able to check in once or twice a day and will do my best to answer things at those times. I'm not sure if I'll have time to work on projects while I'm gone, but I intend to make an effort. Only time will tell.
I think that's it for now. I'll be sure to keep you all up to date as things progress.
Comments
This is happening with Wanton Cove? If so, I'll start looking into it tomorrow.

2017-05-15 05:42:56 +0000 UTCI had a strange issue using Chromium Browser on Linux (debian unstable)... but no issues with Google Chrome (works perfect on win\linux). That's strange... Digging out to investigate this.
