Road Trip!
Added 2017-05-23 22:56:41 +0000 UTCDoing final prep for my trip (Basically, once I post this, I'll be largely MIA for the next 48 hours or so, and be a little less responsive then usual for the two weeks that follow before things get back to normal. I'll be sure to post when I arrive at my destination though to let you all know I made it in alright.
See you all on the flip side!

Whatever makes you happy. I was raised on the stuff, then discovered the oldies, My tastes kind of evolved from there.

2017-05-25 23:42:03 +0000 UTCYeah, with a bad back, long road trips are pretty rough on me. Thankfully a good long soak in some very hot water helps. For the music, I'm traveling through the midwest of the US, and I literally passed through an area with only two radio stations (One was country music *shudder* and the other was a crop futures report. I'm personally partial to either classical or some good hard rock. Era matters little to me so long as its good, but you are right, the 80's has a lot of real gems. Now, to reply to a couple more messages, shut this down, then hit the road again!

2017-05-25 12:51:20 +0000 UTCWhile I'm more used to the mountainous roads over here, that sort of trip can be awfully tiring. Make sure to pick good driving music. I'm partial to 80's rock for that purpose, but hey, anything goes. :)

2017-05-25 12:21:54 +0000 UTCThanks. Just got a room for the first night and am a bit over half way there. Looks like I've got internet for the evening, so now I get to spend a bit of time answering emails/PMs/comments and all the other correspondence I seem to receive every time I turn on my computer. Then up to do it all over again!

2017-05-24 01:19:55 +0000 UTCThank you! Going to be a miserable trip with a bad back, but other than that I expect it to be a pretty nice trip. Log cabin out by the river, more likely to see a bear group of deer wander through the yard than see another human being, . . . If it weren't for the fact I have to spend the time with family (Its not all bad, I volunteered for the trip after all) it would be a very tranquil experience.
