A lot of my time over the last few days has involved Inheritance.
Off and on, I've been talking with the artists as we work on the cover page and start looking at which pieces to work on next. They're doing a really amazing job and I can hardly wait to start sharing completed pieces with everyone!
I reached out again in search of another coder to help get things up to speed. One person replied, and we've been working to get them up to speed. Count me cautiously optimistic.
What little time I've had between orchestrating everything on the Inheritance front and dealing with the general chaos of life, I've been trying to finish up another scene for Rfpnj's Therapist game. Been working on it a bit at a time and am slowly making headway on it. Finished up the second of three sections of the scene today, but the last one is going to be the longest of the set.
Now, on to what's coming up.
I received a list of bugs in the latest build of Wanton Cove (Literally, while I was typing up this post. And thankfully nothing game breaking.). Looks like easy stuff to run down. That's officially become my top priority for tomorrow. Once that is done, I hope to get some more work done on Therapist. Ideally, I'll finish up the scene I've been working on the last couple of weeks, but we'll see what actually happens.
Going to shoot for a Thursday release of Wanton Cove. Was originally going to release tomorrow, but since I screwed up the release of the test build, this allows testers an extra day to look things over.
The rest of the week will be dedicated to bug fixes and writing for Inheritance after the new Wanton Cove build is up.
