Inheritance Art dump!
Added 2017-11-30 01:02:50 +0000 UTCGot a really nice batch of sketches for Inheritance today. Wanted to show you guys since I haven't had much to share on that front lately.
First image, this is for the scene where the protagonist is trying to comfort Anna with a hug right after meeting her.
Second image, this is a simple standing image to be used across the intro of the game as needed.
Third image is for the protagonist's first meeting with Eve, where Anna is trying to shield her. I like it, but its a little over the top. I asked the artist to tone down Eve's excitement by at least a third. Want her excited, but not THAT excited.
Fourth image, Eve coming down the stairs in the intro when she first meets the protagonist. Easily my favorite of the set.
Final image, this is the full sketch of the entry hall of the house. I liked it and asked the artist to continue.
With the exception of the third image, I gave the artists the OK to continue. Asked for a few small changes to the third image before we proceed on that front.
Will hopefully have more to share soon.

Received a revision of the third picture while preparing this post.
Looked much better and gave the artist the go ahead to continue.

Glad to hear that you are enjoying the art! That's a good point with the new vs old in the clothing appearance. I'll bring that up with the artist when the colors start getting added. The intent is to eventually present a single picture for each page of text within the game, and yes, we do intend to have an image for each location to be used as a backdrop for other art when needed.

2017-11-30 16:36:39 +0000 UTCVery nice :) - but the clothes still look new instead of used for a long time (like the description in the intro says) and patched in several areas etc. I like the first one with the hug...that entry hall is nice, too (Note: How about using that to navigate the house instead of the menu?)
