Once my Inheritance checklist is complete, what should I invest my time into this week?

Like the title says, once I'm done with this week's work load, what would you like me to work on for any remaining time this week?  Last week I started by working on Wanton Cove, then since Inheritance won the poll I ended up spending much of my free time preparing the Inheritance Writing Contest.

This week is going to start with a focus on Inheritance, with whatever wins this week's poll taking up the rest of the week.

Details about the Inheritance Writing Contest can be found here:

You can't win if you don't enter, what would you do with your cut of the $100 in prizes?

Previous results (Carryover from previous weeks.  Poll items add all  previous results to their number until they win a poll, then return to 0  for the following poll.):

The Allure of Wanton Cove: 25

Inheritance: 0 (Previous Winner)

Work on the Wiki: 54

Work on Rfpnj's the Therapist: 64

Looks like we're finally reaching that point where the smaller items on the list are going to get a bit of love.  :D

At a certain point in the story progression, if you go to the dead end path in the trail, you'll be prompted to see if Nadia would have something to help you get further down that trail.

Machete? Hm...haven't seen that anywhere either, but I've seen Azumi...so: Where do you get the clue for the machete?

Chloe is from a story named Runt of the Litter I am currently contributing to over on chyoa.com. The poll is set up the way it is to bring a bit of fairness to how work is distributed, which is why points carry over from week to week now. It ensures that everything will get at least a little bit of love, even if its not the most popular choice. Sorry to hear that you're not enjoying Inheritance. Hopefully as it continues to fill out the play will begin to feel more natural to you. One of the things about Wanton Cove is that depending on how you build your character, there is actually some content that is not reachable. Different builds encourage different play styles, and therefore allow for different content in some places based on those skills. On a side note, the latest build of Wanton Cove is currently in testing, and I ran down a host of old bugs coming into this build. The next Wanton Cove build should be out late this week. (But you probably already knew that. ;) ) Thank you for the kind words. It always brightens my day significantly to hear from someone who clearly enjoys my work!

Not sure I've met Chloe in Wanton Cove (Hove?) However, I admire the tenacity and dedication of those diehard Inheritance fans who repeatedly vote in favor of more work for Inheritance, week in and week out, regardless of whether their game has received the bulk of attention or not. I have not been able to get into Inheritance much. I find the mechanics a bit bulky for my meager abilities. I will wait until it is closer to completion and for more of the bugs to be eradicated. I am, however, very much IN to Wanton Cove, which I assume is much closer to completion, and possibly could be more so. Wanton Cove is challenging, excellently written and perplexing all at once. I have three games going. One seems to be progressing smoothly on Day 9. Another at Day 8 can not access the North trail and has received no instruction to purchase a machete, while the third, also at Day 9, has the machete, but has never had the option of visiting Azumi. It happens, and those PCs will keep stumbling about until they find the right clue. As for my primary game whose PC has visited everywhere on Day 9 multiple times, he/she is anxiously awaiting further developments once the Inheritance voters decide to give us poor Wanton Cove saps a break. Beyond that... Keep up the great work. I appreciate the updates and the notes. You are for more attentive than any of the other sites I support on Patreon.

Happens to the best of us. I'm flattered that you like the route so far. Hope that I continue meeting your expectations. The next chapter I write is actually going to be a branching point in the path, I'll likely follow one of those paths at a time for a while. Since people seem to like Chloe fairly well, I'll likely follow her path first. ;)

Aftermath Team

Yeah, sorry 'bout the confusion. Yours is my favourite route so far

You mean Runt of the Litter? (Took me a while to figure out what you were saying. :P) Sounds like something fun to do tonight. I'll see about dropping a couple more chapters over on CHYOA some time this evening.

Aftermath Team

Hmm, Wanton Hove, oooooor I'd love a new chapter of Smallest of the Litter. Loved where things were going with Chloe
