Inheritance Progress Report

As you all know, the next build of Inheritance has been in testing for about a week now.  After a lot of thought, I decided that I'll be posting the new build some time tomorrow even though it will be a few days early.  This build will include four interactive scenes (One of which is pretty significant in size.) and access to the first diary entry from your great uncle in the game.  Should be a good mix of interactive content and lore.

Over the last few days, I've been trying to write when time permits.  Since Inheritance offers the best options for small bits of content, I've been writing for it instead of Wanton Cove just because I figure I can accomplish more that way.  I've put together a little over a dozen small conversation pieces for Eve over the last two days, but those will not appear until the following release.

Since I've received plenty of bug reports for Wanton Cove but have not found the time to work on them yet, that will become my top priority when I get home (About four days from now.).  Once all of that is resolved and fixes are up for all of you, then I will be shifting towards any Inheritance fixes that are needed.  The idea is to have a clean slate going into the new year.

When I resume work, I'll be focused on The Allure of Wanton Cove until the main narrative is complete, even if that may take a couple of extra days.  The only reason I put it that way is because I have a nagging suspicion that finishing up the story is going to require a fairly significant investment of time and I want to be sure to finish up the primary ending of the game before the next release.  Hopefully it will only take a week to finish up, but its possible that it will take just a little longer than that.

Once that is done, then it should be back to business as usual!
