General Update:
Added 2018-01-14 22:36:54 +0000 UTCSo, this last week I put out feelers about our planned paper doll system for art. I received a LOT of replies ranging from reasonable to just plain insane, almost all of which came from artists who are incredibly talented.
I'm talking with a couple of other people involved with the project, and have the group down to three possible artists. I've probably spent 10 hours or more talking with the artists who were interested in the project over the last few days as well. Needless to say, its been pretty involved.
Am trying to put together a list of what all we want to commission using one of the price charts we received and try to hammer out some final details before starting to commission the project this coming month.
This is something that we'll see coming together over the next few months and it will be something that our team will be able to use across projects. End result should be more art at a cheaper price, even if it requires a lot more coding in the background. :D

Was informed that I'll have a house full of kids tomorrow. This means my work time will be a little limited tomorrow. Even so I am hoping to work through the rest of my Wanton Cove bug report tomorrow before wading into Inheritance for the week. I figure with me putting along in the background, I've got about half of a build ready to go already, so I've got a good start on it already.
The following week I will bring back the weekly polls to determine what I should work on each week.

And I think that's everything I have to report today. Hope that all of you are having a wonderful weekend!

2018-01-15 03:05:55 +0000 UTCIn this case, almost everyone who applied for the job was in the realm of good, to just plan incredible. And yes, most of the offers approaching five figures WERE from talented artists, . . . but they weren't THAT talented. Ironically, one of the highest bids I received came from someone who (How to say this nicely?) did not quite measure up to the quality requirements we have for the project.
