Inheritance Progress Report
Added 2018-03-12 20:11:48 +0000 UTCGot off to a bit of a slow start this morning, but its still turning into a fairly productive day. So far I have about four hours of work time under my belt, and it looks like I may have as much as five hours more this evening.
Had an errand to run this morning and because of that I lost about two hours of work time when I got started. Fortunately, once I started working it didn't take too long to prioritize this week's work list and jump right on.
Managed to write up some new sleep related events. Three in total with the largest being maybe 500 words of content. Then I sat down to drop it all into the game and code it. I know of one bug related to the new content, but its one of these cases where its going to take longer to find the code related to it than it will to fix, and its probably not going to take more than a couple of minutes to find. Also did some image resizing so you all don't have to deal with those obnoxiously large images all the time.
When I wade back into this tonight, I'll be planning to focus much of that time on bugs that have been reported (Nothing game breaking, I've got the one I caught earlier to fix, plus 2-3 more that were reported a couple of days ago, . . . and those might be a case of the player running an old build and the problem having been fixed since. Then once I finish up with that I'll start working on some new written content.
Working toward the next build:
-Going to try getting the Anna contest submission into the game (Its once scene that branches three ways. I'll be working on one branch now and add the other two once Eve becomes properly sexable.)
-I have a LOT of WIP content I've been plugging away in the background off and on (At least count, there's more than a dozen chunks of WIP content that is partially written and simply needs to be completed before it can be added to the game. I have Anal Sex for Anna that's probably 75% done, four separate interactive scenes that range from 30-80% done, sparring which is probably about 50% done, . . . those kinds of things) and I want to finish up 2-3 of those items this week. Finishing up a few of those will help clean up my desktop while at the same time add a significant amount of content with less work than it would take otherwise. My hope is that if I add the contest entry, 2-3 of the WIP bits of content, plus write at least a little bit on the side as well, we'll have a fairly large new build with a diverse range of content when A10 rolls out.
As I mentioned above, today is shaping up to be a good work day in spite of a slow start. If the rest of the week looks like this then I should have no trouble hitting my goals above.
Friday: Friday will bring with it the new The Allure of Wanton Cove release. The build currently in testing hasn't had any reported bugs just yet, so its starting to look like I wont even need to do any minor bug fixes before that can be released. :D
Saturday: Maybe Sunday, . . . I'll release the new Inheritance test with whatever content I am able to complete this week.
Now, off to deal with real life for a few hours before I can jump right back into this!
