The Allure of Wanton Cove Progress Report

Haven't been as focused on this as I would have liked today, but I still managed to write about 3k words of content (Got about 20k total for the next build so far.) Of which about 2k of it is pure smut.  Gobs of gooey goodness. :D

I've got the ruins to a playable state right now.  I have three more ambient scenes to write to fill all the slots I created for the initial content related to the ruins, but if time permits I actually have scene ideas for a full dozen scenes, so its entirely possible that there will be more than the initial 10 scenes I had planned to include.  I also need to write three more loss scenes for our new monster, but on the up side I wrote the most difficult of the four today, so the other three shouldn't be too bad in comparison.

This new enemy is both terrible and awesome to write all at the same time.  Its a tremendous challenge to write both because of how complicated the creature is, and because it pushes the boundaries of my own interests pretty hard.  But at the same time its proving very rewarding to see how well everything is coming together.  I think you guys are REALLY going to enjoy it.   This is easily among the most messed up content I have ever written, . . . . 

Looks like my afternoon today and tomorrow are both shot, so not going to get as much done today as I had originally anticipated (Don't get me wrong, I made good progress today.  If I got another 4-6 hours I'd have probably finished tomorrow's work load too.) but in exchange its looking increasingly like I'll get at least a half day to work on Friday to make up for lost time, so its all good.

A funny little story: 

 I shared the content I wrote yesterday with my wife.  She read it with an increasingly disturbed expression on her face.  When she was done, I told her "That's some of the most messed up stuff I've ever written.  Hold me tonight?"  (I was trying to be to be playful.)

She looked at me, completely deadpan, "If that's the kind of thing that goes through your mind, you can hold yourself."

Now, off to spend some time with family.  I'll be jumping right back into Wanton Cove first thing in the morning!
