How to move forward?
Added 2018-04-15 17:26:33 +0000 UTCMy plan all along has been to wait to add the mansion grounds until after the mansion has much more content.
However in recent weeks, I have been increasingly asked about the grounds.
This has gotten me to thinking about whether I should start adding the grounds sooner rather than later even though it will likely be a while before more than ambient content starts to be added to that region.
Since I'm on the fence about what to do about it, I thought this would be a good excuse to let all of you have some say.
Option 1: I can add the grounds, some ambient content, and start adding new scenes to that region in the game. Future builds would include the same amount of content as you've grown accustomed to, but that content would be split between the interior and exterior of the mansion.
Option 2: I can add the grounds and some ambient content to that region, but wait to further develop the grounds content until the mansion itself has been fleshed out quite a bit more.
Option 3: Make an in-game note in the rooms that will eventually include an exit into the grounds to show people where the exits will eventually be and to indicate future content, but not start adding that content yet.
I'm personally leaning toward option two on the grounds that it would tease future content without pulling out attention off of the mansion for an extended period of time. That way the grounds would be present to be explored, but new interactive scenes would be limited to the mansion for a while still while that content continues to be fleshed out. All of that said, I don't have my heart set on any one option, so majority rules.
Grounds will eventually include the following:
-Back Yard
-Front Yard
-Driveway
-Garage
-Greenhouse
-Kennels
-Stables
-Pool
-Tool Shed
-Avery (?)
Additional locations will be added if anyone suggests something that would work well within the setting.

The wiki has information that should help finding about a third of the current interactive scenes in the game, At the same time if you check the changelog I usually give a little bit of information that will help as well. Also, until we get the girls to start moving on their own about the house, remember that you need to summon them to a location in most cases before local scenes will trigger for you. Thank you very much for your valuable insight. I appreciate your taking the time to explain your thoughts on the issue. Much appreciated.

2018-04-16 03:00:55 +0000 UTCPlaying right now I already feel lost with regards to how to trigger the existing content. I find myself switching back and forth between two locations, or sitting on the couch over and over again because I have no idea whether I meat the criteria for scenes to trigger, or where i need to be, or what i need to do to trigger them. Adding the grounds, even if i know they wont have content initially will sooner or latter just add more places for me blindly click between hoping for something to happen. So I would much prefer that the mansion be filled out with more content as a priority, or failing that, getting events added to the wiki. I feel so blind playing right now... which i know wont be a problem when there is more to trigger, but right now I have no idea if I had done everything or not... I am fairly certain not.

Hopefully that will help make it feel like you can spread your arms a little bit. Eventually the game will allow you to assign work assignments. One of those will be to not have to work and therefore opening them up to having free time on their hands, the down side of this is that it will mean that character will no longer be doing that job and therefore messes will eventually be able to form.
