Happy Birthday to me, plus progress!
Added 2018-04-17 19:26:35 +0000 UTCYep, I'm getting old. 41 years I've plagued this world with my presence. I figure that means what, I'm about half way to dead? :P

Now, with the pleasantries out of the way, on to progress!
So far this week, including the 3k I wrote today, I've created probably 6k words of content for the Therapist. What I'm currently working on is probably the most involved portion of it though, so it should be all down hill from here.
I've been talking with another author about a possible joint venture. Neither of us has a lot of time to invest into it right this moment, but we both are pretty excited about it. I won't spoil a lot, but think "Saw" but make it sexual, . . . . we've got some delightfully depraved plans in store for that one.
Received a bundle of art related to the first expansion to the paper doll stuff. I ok'd most of it and asked for a couple of small adjustments elsewhere. Its coming along nicely. With the work being done for the mechanical side of things, I suspect I'll have some early samples to share with everyone before too much longer.
And I think that about covers it for today! Hope you're all having yourselves a wonderful day!

2018-04-19 13:33:28 +0000 UTCAlright, to get started with Twine: <a href="http://twinery.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://twinery.org/</a> The most popular format for Twine (Easy to use and well supported): <a href="http://www.motoslave.net/sugarcube/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://www.motoslave.net/sugarcube/</a> But most importantly about SugarCube is that there's a great community around it that is very helpful. The link above has some guides for various aspects of coding if you're brave enough to try forging ahead on your own, and if you'd rather talk to people, hit the Q&A link in the first link above. I personally turn to the good people over on TFGamesSite in the help forum there and they've always proven to be both competent, and down right eager to help. So that's the basics as well as support for anything you might need. However if you want to get into some of the more advanced stuff, then there are free JavaScript classes online, and the code language used is either the same, or very similar nearly all of the time. One place you can take free classes would be here: <a href="https://www.codecademy.com/learn/learn-javascript" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.codecademy.com/learn/learn-javascript</a> How I started was with Twine/Sugarcube and I did just choose your own adventure style content at first, then started doing new functions as they became necessary in my projects. Kind of a case of starting with the bare bones basics, then learning something new when I was comfortable with what I was doing before. (I have a lot more links than that, but I don't want to overwhelm you if it can be helped. Start with something simple then ease into it a bit at a time. If you have questions or anything like that, shoot me a message and I'll answer if I can, or I'll point you toward someone/someplace that can. ;) ) Best of luck!

2018-04-18 13:27:46 +0000 UTCYeah, that would be great. Thanks. :)
2018-04-18 06:11:17 +0000 UTCDon't let that stop you! I'm a complete moron when it comes to programing and it doesn't stop me from trying to make a living creating games. On a more serious note though, check out twine, you'd be surprised at how easy the basics are to learn. Creating a choose your own adventure style story takes almost no effort at all beyond the act of writing it, beyond that, there's some pretty good guides and a very friendly community who are typically very helpful in learning the basics. If you're interested, I'll see about pointing you toward some useful resources.
