Inheritance Progress report

Haven't posted updates the last couple of days, but have NOT been idle.  Got a lot of progress to share with you this evening.

Lets break things down by day.

Saturday:

-Wrote one Bedtime scene.

-Wrote three new ending scenes for the couch.

-Wrote two new eavesdropping scenes.

-Added exits to a lot of the existing scenes in the game, should make navigation a little easier.  Trying to get exits everywhere, but it's going to be a bit at a time because there's a LOT of places it needs to be done.

-Talking details with an artist about doing a Futa Apocalypse comic.  For those of you unfamiliar with the setting check out the story version here: https://chyoa.com/story/Futa-Apocalypse.5932  It's looking likely that this is going to happen!

-Talked with our paper doll artist for a while.  They're going to be working on some more traditional art for the game this month.  Among them are four background images and a blueprint set for the mansion.  This artist has always been very punctual, so I fully expect to see the completed art by the end of this month.

Sunday:

-Spent the better part of four hours working through bug reports and making small improvements.  Most of it was just typos, only a couple of items of significance.

-Spent some time talking with a writer about some details regarding the setting.  This writer has an idea for an NPC that they want to write into the game and I have given them the green light to do so now that we've ironed out a few details.  Adding this character is going to require us to add the town sooner than I had originally planned, but should be well worth it.  I'll likely handle the addition of the town the same way as we have done the grounds where I do the bare minimum of work to get it into the game properly so the new character can be added, then go back at a later date to flesh everything out.

Today:

-Went through and completely rebuilt the meal time mechanic (Not as horrible as it sounds, but still time consuming.  Only about twenty scenes that were affected by this.

-Wrote two new breakfast scenes for the game.

Now, where's that leave us moving into this week?

-I need to write a minimum of four more small meal time scenes.

-Our wonderful wiki guy has coded the first two scenes for a small story arc.  They plan to code the rest of the series over the course of this week (They will still need a little code work, but this saves me a massive chunk of time.  I love my wiki guy.) and it's my hope that I can get the entire story arc into the game for the next build, even if I have to rail people through the events and get it coded correctly at a later date.  :P  It's a LOT of content spanning several scenes.

-Got two completed images ready to go into the game.  Shouldn't take long to add them.

-Going to start placing the background images into the game.  Only have a few locations ready at the moment, but got to start somewhere!

-After that, we'll see how much time I have left on my hands.  Submission scenes will take precedence, but if all goes well I'll get to work on a little bit of the lead in content for town in preparation for the new NPC, . . . or maybe write a couple of smallish interactive scenes, . . . guess we'll see.

Everything else:

-In total, once Patreon gets me paid this month (Usually happens on the 6th), I'll be dropping about $900 into art this month.

-We just opened a new pledge level.  If you have a specific scene you'd like to see added to one of our games, and you're feeling generous, consider taking a look at the new pledge level.

-Looks like I should have a minimum of two good work days this week, possibly three.  I'll plug away at things all week like I've been doing the last three days, but those are the days I expect to have the most time to work.

-My current plan is to release the next build of Inheritance on the 13th of this month.

And I think that catches you all up to date on where we're at!
