Inheritance Progress Report: 8/21/18

First, since I mentioned a possible TEST build this evening, I wanted to address that, then I'll move into the rest of it.

Last night I commented that we had a bug in the conversation code, and since I wasn't seeing the issue, I passed it on to our coders. Seems I had a typo in the code that they pointed out. I fixed it, then tossed together another build to test on my end. The error remained. What this means it that there was more than one thing broken and we've got the first one fixed. I'm waiting for a reply from our coders now, but I fully expect it's going to be another minor issue like the first (The first bug, once I knew what I was looking for, only took about a minute to fix it.)

Added about a dozen background images to the game last night, spanning four locations.

Wrote one new interactive scene for Anna today and got it into the game.

Received a submission piece yesterday for Eve. The story was fun, and the structure was good. It needed a moderate rewrite and needed to be coded, but I finished that up today and dropped it into the game.

Next two days should be pretty good for work. Going to spend one of them doing data entry related to the paper doll content. The other I'm going to spend creating playable content for the game.

PS: What do you guys think of the highlighted text? I've had a few people mention that I can be a little long winded at times (Or the more common phrasing is that I post a "Wall of text"), so I thought highlighting the key bits to draw attention to them for those of you who just skim the posts. Do they help? Do you not like them? Do they not make a difference to you? I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts in the comments below.
