Inheritance Progress Report 11/4/18
Added 2018-11-05 01:43:50 +0000 UTCBeen a very productive day today. Instead of starting in on written content this morning like I had originally intended, I instead jumped right into coding.
What all did I accomplish?
-I wrote the code for all of the mini scenes I mentioned yesterday. Then I added all of those scenes to that code. I will actually need one of these for every character in the game who uses this function. However how it's been written, it's literally a case of copying the code, changing one word in the code itself, then removing any scenes that are not relevant when that individual is singing (Wouldn't look right to have Eve singing, and also have her cheering herself on from the audience.)
-Wrote one new primary scene today. That puts me at three of the six I want for a minimum to add the function.
-Wrote the code for the main function. Pretty simple stuff but takes time. Just need to drop scenes into that framework as I wrote them.
-Wrote a couple more of those mini scenes I had mentioned yesterday.
-Since I haven't heard back from our regular coders (Sometimes they're just busy with other stuff. I'm just one of many people they help regularly.) I opted to drop a message on a help forum which is typically very helpful. Hopefully I'll have a solution soon and once that happens the sponsored content should be really easy to get added.
If all goes to plan, I'll finish up that function tomorrow, or the next day at the latest. Then I'll be jumping into some more interactive scenes for the game.

I don't know the first thing about Ren'Py for starters. I have a good group of people helping me. And probably the biggest reason is that I don't think it would work well with my text heavy approach to game making.
