Inheritance Progress Report 12/04/18

Today was a pretty good day considering it turned into a half day (Had in-laws come to visit, that cut into things quite a bit.)

I sat down to work this morning, and it was shaping up to be a similar work day to yesterday, you know one of those days where you want to get something done, and you just can't quite find the motivation to do it? Yeah, one of those, but at least I figured out why.

See, the last two days, I have been rolling an NPC around in my head, someone I've wanted to write into the game for a long time but I simply haven't gotten around to writing anything for her yet.

So, what did I do? I started writing a new NPC into the game!

This new NPC, I've spoken with Irish Major Tom who has been contributing the character Mitsuko, as well as having written the intro for Claire. We're going to be coordinating to write an intro for the character. They will be starting the intro with a scene involving Claire that will involve the new NPCs acquisition. Then I'll be taking over upon her arrival as she enters the home for the first time. We've worked out the outline of what we want to do today and we've both started writing on our respective portions of the intro. Very exciting stuff.

In addition to everything going on with the new NPC, I did a little writing for one of the scenes I hope to finish up this week.

Also wrote a small New Years related scene.

Good progress, we did a lot of ground work for the new NPC, and more importantly I'm finally past that lack of enthusiasm I felt yesterday! All good things, and I'm gnashing at the bit to get to work in the morning!

Looks like tomorrow should have no distractions, so I'm hoping to make up for lost time tomorrow.
