Not sure if anyone has told you yet but the actor that Sheng Wang was talking to on the phone is from Be Loved in House, he was part of the second couple! And the other student that you recognized in the front of the classroom you've just seen! He plays Big A in My Tooth Your Love! <3

Maybe I’m in the minority here, but the reason why I don’t find this storyline problematic or am weirded out by it is because I don’t really see these two as step brothers. They just met. Their parents aren’t even married. It’s not like they grew up together since they were 5 like in the Unknown for instance. Is it just me?

I am enjoying this series SO much!!! The nerd in me is happy! The empath in me is ecstatic! And the ability to find your "made family" is just the icing on the cake!
So happy Javi is giving this a try!

This series was shot in Tamsui, my hometown that I absolutely love! It makes me feel so nostalgic! Oh, and the whole step-brothers/brother trope is pretty common in Taiwanese BL. I think it's because families in Taiwan can be really big, with lots of close and distant cousins. A lot of young gay kids develop crushes or feelings for their (usually older) cousins. In Taiwan, it's normal to call your cousins older or younger brothers, so I think these kinds of experiences are so common that they end up in BL dramas. Some people might think it's weird, but for many Taiwanese, it feels really familiar.
