So just in case youβre confused, first, yes Jiang Cheng at the end before the flashback was referring to Wei Wuxian because according to their knowledge, only Wei Wuxian can summon Wen Ning and Wei Wuxian was his master thatβs why Jiang Cheng immediately assumed Wei Wuxian came back. When he used the Zidian (the bracelet/whip thing) on Wei Wuxian, it didnβt work because Wei Wuxian did not steal the body, it wa so offered to him (whereas, the whip identifies and differentiates souls and bodies that were stolen). Also, the way Lan Wangji just jumped in to protect his man ππ. Lan Wangji has also recognised Wei Wuxian and knows heβs back, cause of the song Wei Wuxian played on the flute to summon Wen Ning (I donβt think it was mentioned in the show but it was mentioned in the book). Also, we have the entered the flashback part, sit tight cause weβre gonna be back to the present until after a lot of episodesπ
