2025-02-09 02:59:03 +0000 UTC'Haem' is satoori of the word 'Hyung' in Gyungsang, Busan, Daegu. I don't think now 10~20's use this word a lot(of course some 10~20's people use it). But in this drama, they are in the countryside, so that's why YC use the word 'Haem' instead of 'Hyung' which means 'older brother'. ***and I heard the actor of YC born in Daegu, so that's why he speaks in Daegu satoori in this drama.

2023-07-14 03:22:31 +0000 UTCI had seen someone on MDL say that the 'bro' or 'brother' Yechan uses is either a dialect or old-fashion way of saying hyung. I tried to look up haem google tranlaste but it just says Ham! Am I spelling it wrong? Any thoughts on word derivation?

I was wondering how accurate the satoori was (as an English speaker), since I could only pick up on clear intonation differences lol. It was like hearing the difference between a deep southern dialect (I.e a country Texan) and standard American dialects (harder to come up with a standard example since Texas/America is big and has many dialects 😫)

I think he speaks in north-Gyungsang or Daegu satoori... 🤔because for me, his dialect is little bit akward(I'm from Busan. And South/North-Gyungsang, Busan, Daegu speak similar dialect, but intonation is different)
