Black tall boots in sticky Gorilla glue, gets more stuck, destroys boots
Added 2024-02-10 19:08:26 +0000 UTCHi guys, this is my latest Gorilla glue vid - I've come to realise the more vids I make about shoes and boots getting stuck to Gorilla glue so it gets tackier and stickier as it goes on, that the part near the end where it gets really sticky is where it's most fun. It seems the process early on where it's still a little sticky but not enough isn't quite as exciting.
You also notice the soles of the boots get separated and almost gets ripped off because of the strength of the glue as it completely sets. I guess that shows how cheaply shoes from eBay are made, especially those made in China. I have bough a few boots from China on eBay and they mostly have soles that are just glued on and not stitched on, I guess to save money. It really shows in this video.
Also, I used the glue on metal this time and I found when the glue completely dried, the glue just peeled off the metal no problem. I found the same on plastic too. Regardless of whether the surface is smooth or has a little raised pattern on it, the glue when totally dried comes right off without any problem. Whilst it's not completely satisfying knowing the shoes or boots won't be stuck fast there forever in terms of the videos, at least the surface you're using can be reused, which saves money in it's own way.
