How to film a GMH scene with only 1 person
Added 2025-11-03 23:14:38 +0000 UTCHere's 1 way of filming a "grab my hand" scene if you don't have sb else to film it with. All you need is a silicine hand with moveable fingers (available on eBay or AliExpress for cheaper), a stand, clamp and a way of moving the stand so the silicone hand looks as though it's moving and not static for more realism. The problem with this setup is that the hand sags down - if it stayed straight like the last silicine hand I use to use, it would be better. Excpet the last hand did not have moveable fingers, and it made realistic hand slipping tricky. Using the silicine hand is better for hand slipping but I must remember not to grip onto it too hard, or else the fingers get stretched and distorted and ruins the asthetic.
