💬 What is Happening in July?

Well the world is going to shit in some regards, but its business as usual over here, and 0.40 recently dropped with a brand spanking new chapter of the story!

We finally visit the Capital - meet a new Goblin - and there's some non-goblin action as well (as the story develops expect to see more of the human characters as well!) 💦

We've had two 'adventure' style quests in a row now, you know, you go somewhere and do something (or someone). So next up I think I'll focusing a bit on expanding, maybe even literally expanding, the characters we've already met. The party, the townspeople, the goblins. A small part of this is the new Character Cards. The first card will be relatively family friendly (see below), and as you progress and get more scenes with a girl, the cards will also get increasingly spicy, from 🌶️ to 🌶️🌶️🌶️.

So does that mean the game is 0.40% done?

Mmmmaybe, or maybe not. The way I work is that I got an ending written down (I feel this is important, so you got something to build up to), and I got certain story events I want to happen written down. What happens between these plot ploints - well I'm pretty flexible there. That's a nice way of saying I make that stuff up as I go, its just how the creative process goes. 

💡 You add some ideas you had to the game, and then get more ideas as you add the previous ideas, and then as you add those new ideas, you get even more ideas . At least writers block is not an issue.

However I will say that I never planned to make this one of those games that go on forever, updated for eternity. Or where story spirals out of control and you will never get to read Winds of Winter, and its been like what, 11 fucking years and its not fucking out yet. I regret ever starting reading those books.

Anyway, I want to have a pretty fast paced and compact main story, and if you guys want more after its done - I can always make expansions and extra adventures in the world of Goblin Layer. I got some ideas for other games as well - but first I wanna finish Goblin Layer. So I'll keep working hard with that.
