Now-ember!

It's a new month again, let's start with the status of the game development!

We're continuing to the Town-life theme, and I'm planning add some personal quests for Goblin Layer's companions as well - adding another page to the Quest Journal! Next update will be heavily Elf focused! As we know by now, both her financial and physical assets are quite lacking. Our protagonist gets dragged into a money making scheme, involving plants, tentacles and a certain Catgirl. 

The writing is maybe 90% done, needs a few more lines and some polish. The characters models and clothing needed for the scenes are all in place, a ripped shirt included. Posing can be time consuming, but most is done. Post processing should go fairly quick this time. In summary, I think with a bit of luck, I might have it done by Monday :-)

Up until now, the story has been revolving around random adventures, setting up the world and introducing new characters. But it's starting to reach a point of maturity. Or perhaps mature is the wrong word for this game. Let's say ripe instead. Which means 'going deeper' into the characters we've already met and explore them a bit more thoroughly. Before the next big adventure, I want to have the cottage set up as a base of operations, go deeper into Goblin Layer's party members and also let the player's get the opportunity to increase his child-support debt even more. If you enjoy meeting new Goblins on stupid adventures, don't worry tho. There will be more of that as well. 

Other news no one asked for

I've had something of a pleasant problem these last two months. Been surrounded by extroverts, got dragged off to various social events, hikes and alchohol-related adventures. Great for my social life, not so good for being productive, but I will try to enjoy it while it lasts. 90% of my actual free, normal, introvert-time still goes towards the game (and 10% towards Mount&Blade: Bannerlord, please forgive me).

And as always, I never expected this amount of support for the game when I first uploaded it. It's been absolutely amazing, and I'm hyped continue Goblin Layer's story!
