What's worse than early debugging? Late debugging! I must admit, building my very own engine is a special kind of adventure. As soon as I decided that I want to share a screenshot today, tweaked some stuff to look better the engine crapped out on me for apparently no reason. It was SUPPOSED to handle drunk coding god dammit! :D
Anyways, the progress is real folks! Today I've navigated some in-game menus, changed audio and video options, added some very useful in-engine classes (versatile background class, upgraded sprite class), made it even faster by tweaking the rendering and update modules (capped at 120FPS for now, not that there's much to display yet). I could be lazy, but nah - I'll make it efficient to run even on a potato! ;)
Hang in there for just a bit, your support is really needed and it's not going to waste! And now let's make another coffee and hunt down that pesky bug...
