[Commission] Raid Gone Wrong
Added 2025-07-15 02:30:46 +0000 UTCSummary: An big MMO raid gets even bigger after a strange patch update.
“Everyone gather up. Are you guys ready to take on this raid?” the most authoritative voice of the raid party called the 49 other players to step into the warp circle to prepare for the newest raid of Wondela Online.
Wondela Online was an MMORPG with a strangely all male playerbase. At least, that’s what it always looked like in-game to them. Set in a fantasy land with giant mushrooms it had enormous insectoid enemies, and monstrous rodent-like mounts. The detail on the insects and the rodent mounts could scare off anybody squeamish, but players who remained to play the game enjoyed the fun and fantastical land that Wondela had to offer.
Underground tunnel cities, forests of green trees, and storms that could flood the land and create lakes that would disappear days later were just some of the things they had experienced in the land of Wondela. It was very different from the usual fantasy towns and castles many other MMOs gave them, but the environment wasn’t the only thing that kept them playing.
“This should be fun. This is a new raid boss, but we’re all an experienced bunch. We can take it,” one of the raid group’s Heavy Tanks brandished his sword.
“There’s 50 of us at the level cap. We’ll toast whatever gets thrown at us,” the party’s most arrogant mage smirked.
“Just make sure you get out of the way of the attacks in time. I don’t want to have to heal damage from a stupid mistake like forgetting to dodge,” the mage’s friend, a High Priest cleric, sighed. He pointed at the Archmage. “Don’t think I don’t remember your slip up when we fought those super tall Fairy Queens.”
“Fairies are supposed to be small, aren’t they? I guess it’s because they were Queens, but I can’t believe they were three times taller than us. Well, I guess the game wanted to make them bigger targets or something. It helped me with my bow at least,” an Sniper-class archer remarked, recalling the incident the High Priest mentioned.
Challenging and realistic combat in a highly detailed, enormous world of fantasy is what Wondela Online touted as their MMO’s strongest feature. The game encouraged players to party up together and fight raids together against enemies far stronger than them - forcing them to learn attack patterns and weaknesses to come up with strategies together.
The raid they were intending to take on this time was a new high difficulty boss that the game notifications stated would be ‘an example of future challenges for all players’. It excited them to think about what the future game challenges would be like.
“... Well, we say new, but this next game patch is coming up, right?” an archer asked.
“Yeah,” nodded a heavy tank. “Later today at 6:00 UTC. We’ve got a bit more than a few hours to clear the raid before the game update starts. That should be plenty of time for us to clear this. The maintenance details said it’d be a quick patch, but they made it sound like it’d be a humongous patch for some reason - emphasis on the humongous part with all the ‘BIG’ puns they made on their social media pages.”
“Still, we’re cutting it close, aren’t we?”
A mage added his thoughts into the conversation. “Hey, it wasn’t easy unlocking this raid. Not only did we have to clear that Fairy Queen Raid, but we also had to get that super rare ‘Dropped Azure Orb’ drop from that water dungeon AND craft at least one B-rank or higher Dark Antbrethren equipment for each of us.”
“Yeah, credit where credit is due: thank the crafters who managed to make all of this for us,” the raid party’s leader chuckled before clearing his throat. “In any case, there wasn’t anything written on the forums, so we’re probably the first and only party that’s gotten this far. That means we’ll be the first to challenge this raid. Doesn’t that get your blood flowing, everyone?”
“Yeah!” “Yes!” “Wooooo!”
The entire raid party cheered when the raid party leader punched his fist up in the air. They were all excited to try fighting against Wondela’s newest raid boss before the new update. They were going in with absolutely no information whatsoever regarding their opponent. The only things they had to go by were the unlock conditions for the raid.
Antbrethren equipment all had the common trait of ‘United Resistance’ - an ability that increased their stats if they had more members in their party wearing the equipment. This did not really tell them much other than that the raids wanted players to come in large numbers.
The requirement to clear the Fairy Queen Raid before this raid unlocked also did not inform them of anything other than the fact that this battle would likely be more difficult than the Fairy Queens they had fought before.
It was the requirement to obtain the rare ‘Dropped Azure Orb’ item that was most peculiar to them, though. This was because the description of the item was ‘A lost accessory item from another realm.’ Another realm? Like a realm of angels or a realm of demons? Lore in Wondela hadn’t even mentioned such things before.
All of the men in the raid party might have been overlooking something, but it did not matter to them that they had no idea what the raid was going to be like. Not knowing was a part of the fun of the challenge. Whatever their opponent was, they had their strategies and plans as well as their backup plans and their backup plans to their backup plans. They were an experienced raid group. The Fairy Queen Raid may have posted a bit of a challenge to them, but they had successfully cleared it. Surely, a challenge that unlocked after that challenge couldn’t be THAT much tougher.
“Already then. It’s time. Let’s begin the raid everyone,” the raid party leader selected the option on his menu UI.
BEGIN RAID?
[Warp to Raid Arena] ←
[NO]
With the option selected, the warp circle they stood inside began to glow a bright red color. The 50 raid party members vanished all at once. The teleport activated, sending each and every one of them to the Arena for their Raid Boss battle.
…
………
…………..
…………………
……………
………
…
And what an arena it was.
“Whoa. This place is massive.”
The raid party had been warped to many different raid arenas before from vast caverns to expansive plains to perilous stages surrounded by bottomless pits. All of these had looked like natural parts of the dungeons and maps they had been to before.
“Is this… a temple…?”
“Even a temple shouldn’t have ceilings this high up, right?”
This time, the raid boss arena was indoors in a place that looked man-made.
Rather than rough and rocky surfaces or grassy plains, the ground they were standing on was smooth and polished wood. In the distance, they could see white walls and brown pillars that rose up high into the sky. Above them was clearly a ceiling - not the top of an underground cavern but a properly constructed and built ceiling like you would see in a house or a church.
This was the party’s first experience with an area that looked manmade. Actually, this was the first time Wondela even introduced such a location. But even though a man-made, indoor area would be something a player would be accustomed to from their everyday lives outside of the game, the sheer scale of the place they had been warped to made it appear surreal and unfamiliar.
“Where are we?” the leader of the mage group asked while checking his own menu UI. The map that he opened up was still loading. In fact, most of the game world seemed to still be loading in too. Lamps appeared in the ceiling high up above them, but with how high up they were and how big they appeared, it was as if there were two suns over their heads.
“Well, this is the arena, but this one’s way bigger than any of the other ones we’ve had fights in. All of the other places were more enclosed, even the outdoors ones,” one of the party’s healers remarked while looking at the walls. Something was forming on them in the distance that seemed familiar to him, but he couldn’t quite make it out. It looked like… a shelf?
As more of the world around them loaded in, it was the raid member who also had the merchant subclass who realized the truth. “Wait… Guys, isn’t this a gigantic shop?”
“A shop?”
Merchandise dozens of times bigger than them, a countertop as tall as a mountain, and furniture large enough to tower over them and cast them in shadow… they were definitely inside a fantasy store that was many times their size.
“But if that’s the case…?”
Whaaaaam! … Whaaaaaaaam!
The earth began to shake. In the distance, it sounded as if two explosions had occurred.
Whaaaaaaaaam! …Whaaaaaaaaaaam!
The shaking grew more power and the sounds grew louder and louder.
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam! …Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam!
Something was approaching, and all 50 of the raid party members knew instinctively that whatever it was, it was big. Extremely big.
“W-What is that?” a cleric stepped backwards nervously.
“My guess is that it’s the boss,” an archer looked around cautiously in all directions.
“Brace yourselves everyone. It’s coming,” the raid leader readied his stance.
‘It’ was not the right word to use, but the entire party quickly learned what was coming. Swinging a towering wooden door open with a thunderous slam and a powerful gale, the raid boss entered the arena.
[Glenda - Owner of Mefael Goods - NPC]
[Giant Realm Shopkeeper LVL 1]
The ordinary name of an NPC glowed above the head of the enormous being that entered the room with such an ordinary title and low level accompanying the label. However, despite the low level written on the description, the sheer power of the shopkeeper could be felt with every impactful step she made on the floor.
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam! …Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam!
“U-Uwoah… Our opponent’s that woman?”
“She’s just an NPC, right? Is this a glitch?”
“Doesn’t look like it. You can see her health bar too, can’t you? Damn… That’s a lot of health.”
“And check out her title. It says Giant Realm. Are you serious? We’re fighting Giants in this game? That’s kind of awesome.”
“She’s kind of hot too. Damn. If only that skirt was a bit shorter, we’d be able to see.”
“How big is she? It looks like we’re around 2 inches tall compared to her.”
Shopkeeper Glenda was a young woman who looked like an ordinary NPC. Her dark brown hair was tied into a braid and her bright green eyes were hidden behind a pair of glasses. She appeared shy, clutching a book to her chest and hesitantly glancing around with a nervous gaze. There was a good reason for her to appear nervous, though. Down by her white sandals on the floor were the raid party members who, to her, were all the size of insects.
“H-Huh? Hyaaah! A bunch of roaches got in? My shop! G-Get out of my shop!”
With those words, Glenda put her book down onto her shop counter and raised her foot at the players. The raid battle commenced. The 50 male raid members were going to have to fight a giant woman who appeared to be 200 feet tall compared to them.
“I KNEW I could count on this game to keep things interesting!” one of the party’s thieves laughed as he threw knives at Glenda’s sandal. Though the weapons didn’t seem to pierce or scratch her, he could see the damage numbers appear on her shoe as he scampered past her left sandal and ran behind her.
“This sure is original! I’ve got no complaints here outside of the length of her skirt!” chuckled one of the party’s mages whose spells were on cooldown and was alternating with another mage.
“Get your minds out of the gutter, guys. Don’t get the mods on our butts for inappropriate talk,” an archer fired his arrows as high up as he could, but from the distance he was at, the arrows curved back down and only hit Glenda’s knees.
When it came to taking part in a new raid battle, it was understandable for there to be deaths and wipes when first learning the raid boss’s patterns, but the raid party fighting against Glenda was very experienced and could adapt on the fly. They knew how to manage their cooldowns to continue dealing damage to her practically every second.
“You gross bugs! Please get crushed!” Glenda’s attacks were also highly telegraphed. It was very easy to see where she would attempt to stomp on them and run out of the way in time. The more agile members were long gone by the time her foot hit the ground. As for the slower heavy armored tanks, mages, and clerics, the tanks’ defenses were capable of protecting against the giant sandaled foot attempting to step on them.
Whaaaaam!
“Mgrk… Damn… This is actually heavy, but I think this is pretty manageable,” commented a tank with a tower shield. Glenda’s stomp did take out a fair chunk of his HP, but the healer nearby brought it back up quickly.
“Still alive? They’re like cockroaches. Oh my oh my…” Glenda remarked upon seeing the ‘insect’ she stepped on still alive and moving. “This is so gross. Please just go away!”
Another one of Glenda’s attacks had her take off her sandals and try to throw it at the party.
Boooom! Booooom!
“Whoa! Incoming!” shouted an archer who needed to use his evasive skill to not take damage in time. Attacks aimed at the back row caught them off guard, but there was also a consequence to Glenda’s own actions. “That was close. Hey! While she’s grabbing her sandals back, you guys better be dealing damage!”
That was right. Glenda always had to go back to reclaim her sandals whenever she threw them. This was a golden opportunity to do damage. Many DPS units struck at this time.
“That’s it. I’m getting something to take care of this,” Glenda decided and started to walk towards the shop counter.
“What’s she doing?”
“Isn’t it pretty obvious? If she’s treating us like bugs, she’ll want bug spray or something a fantasy world would use.”
“This must be the DPS check. Attack her even more, everyone! Don’t let her get to that item!”
The raid party was intelligent and quick-witted. They were also absolutely right. This was the DPS check. Glenda was reaching for a jar labeled ‘Bug Be Gone’ but because of the constant attacks at her feet, she yipped and turned around.
“H-Hey! Ouch! What’s with these bugs? They bite,” cried Glenda who dropped the jar onto the ground. She tried to keep her glasses from falling off her face as she spun her head around in surprise. She had been successfully distracted, but that did not mean that she was done. “Urgh. If that’s how it is…”
Whaaaaam! Whaaaaaaaam! Whaaaaaaaaaaam!
Glenda slipped her foot out of her sandal and slammed her bare feet down onto the floor three times in quick succession. Not only did her first speedy stomp shake the ground, it also stunned players outside of the range who were touching the floor. This left them open for the second and third stomps.
“Uwah! Urk! I can’t move? Damn!” Even the raid party leader was caught off guard and forced to use his defensive skill to endure the attack. “Looks like her attack pattern is changing now that we’ve got half of her health down.”
“Yeah, but this is still pretty easy for a secret raid boss.”
“Honestly, it might just be that it’s easier to tell when a person is going to do or attack when they’re so big than it is to tell a monster.”
“Nah, maybe we’re just too good.”
The arrogance of the raid party members was understandable considering they had figured out Glenda’s attack patterns easily and went through the entire first encounter with her raid battle so quickly. They hadn’t even had a single defeated ally yet and were getting closer to winning.
“I’m getting a bit tired. How long have we been at this? The only actual problem is her gigantic health bar. We’re doing thousands of damage with each hit here. How much HP does she have? It’s got to be at least a million, right?”
“Well, it does make sense for her to have a huge HP bar when she’s that huge.”
Indeed, Glenda was taking damage from the raid party members’ attacks, but as a gigantic enemy, there was no noticeable damage on her. The only reason they could tell that they were succeeding was that her health bar was visibly decreasing even though it was a slow effort. The party members had a system to sustain themselves during the Raid Battle and continuously deal damage while also being able to recover the damage they took, but the Raid Battle was taking a fairly long time.
And time was actually up for the raid party members right as they got Glenda’s HP down to almost zero.
[Patch Update Complete]
A small notification appeared on the top right side of the game UI for every player who opened up his menu screen during battle. They did not need to see this notification, though, as the moment the patch update occurred, something strange happened.
Vrwooooooooooooosh!
“H-huh? What just happened?”
“What’s going on?”
Before they could attempt to deal with the last 5000 HP that Glenda had, Glenda’s body seemed to become more and more distant to them. Their attacks that were aimed at her were unable to reach her. This was not simply horizontal distance away either. Glenda’s towering body suddenly looked to be even bigger than before, forcing the raid party to look even higher up to be able to see her face.
Anyone who did look all the way up, though, saw Glenda’s title had changed.
[Glenda - Owner of Mefael Goods]
[Shopkeeper LVL 1]
The words ‘Giant Realm’ had disappeared. What did this mean? The party members did not know. What they did know, though, was that Glenda had stopped moving and they were no longer 2 inches tall relative to her. Rather, it looked like they were half an inch tall now - shorter than the thickness of her sandal and four times smaller than before. That meant that Glenda had grown 4 times bigger compared to them too as though she was 800 feet tall.
“Is this a party of the raid battle or is this a glitch?” asked a mage.
“My money’s more on glitch because the boss stopped moving for a second,” the raid party leader took the opportunity to check his game notifications. Before he even could, though, the game did it for him and opened the notification UI for all of the players.

Increasing the level cap was something typical among Wondela Online’s patch details. It was strange that they hadn’t raised the level up during the 4.0.0 patch, so raising it now was something the raid party members had expected. However, the next three mechanics that they read were things they were about to experience first hand. As for the last part of the message, something seemed off from how glitched it appeared but before they could ponder what it meant…
“Hm…” Glenda’s voice interrupted the players’ reading.
“Uwoah! No reading in real-time!” As the game popup disappeared the players looked up to see Glenda directly above them. She actually had not taken a single step, though. They were all so small at less than half an inch tall that all 50 members scattered about were still directly in front of her. What she had done was simply lower herself to get a better look at them. With her hands on her knees, the squatting giant loomed over them all with an intimidating presence.
“Hmph. It’s so hard to see all these little bugs, but I really need to deal with this infestation,” Glenda sighed and adjusted her glasses. She was not panicked like she had been before.
“Looks like the battle’s continuing. Maybe this is Phase 2?” one of the raid party’s mages assumed.
“Isn’t it a bit late for Phase 2 to start? She barely has any health left,” chuckled a rogue. “It’s kind of a shame that we won’t be seeing much of this phase, but let’s finish this!”
Attempting to continue their strategy, the raid party members launched their attacks. To their surprise, the mages’ and ranged DPS’ strikes hit Glenda’s sandals and toes, but a single number appeared where their skills hit: 0.
“What the-? How high’s her physical defense and magic resistance?”
The ranged attacks tried to send another volley of skills at Glenda, but again, she took no damage.
Improved defensive stats was not all that Glenda had received. When the gigantic woman decided to stop looking at the insects that she didn’t even feel were attacking her, she began to move.
Rumble! Rumble!
“Ngrk!” Just the act of standing straight up shook the ground with a far greater intensity than any of the stomps that Glenda had tried to attack them with before. They were thrown off balance but it wasn’t only that. “What? We’re Slowed?”
Being caught in the shaking earth caused by Glenda’s even slightest movements Slowed every player that was in contact with the ground which, considering their size, was all of them. This left them open for Glenda’s next attack.
… Actually, it wasn’t even an attack. Glenda simply started to walk. The first step she took rose high up above the players’ heads, casting their even tinier bodies in her foot’s shadow.
“Crap!” Knowing they wouldn’t be able to get out of the range of Glenda’s step in time, the tanks activated as many protective skills as they could to protect their allies. “Everyone, defe-”
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!
But for any player that did not use their best invulnerability skill, there was no surviving being crushed under the weight of Glenda’s foot when she walked forward. A single step buried 6 players beneath her sandal and dealt 999,999,999 damage all at once.
“... What…?” a far off raider stared in shock, dumbfounded at how immediate and absolute 6 of their party members died.
“H-huh? Did you see that damage?” The party members who were the furthest away were in shock at the numeric values that they saw Glenda cause. However, that was not the only thing they should have been worried about.
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!
“Waaaaargh! H-Huh? My armor?” A tank who was not near Glenda’s foot, but still close enough to be affected by the shockwave of her foot’s impact suddenly found himself without any of his armor.
“What the hell? What happened to my clothes? Durability: 0?”
“My sword! It broke! Don’t tell me that the shockwave alone shattered it!”
That was right. The equipment durability feature had been implemented. When any type of equipment received enough damage before being repaired, it would break apart and be destroyed. Glenda’s footstep did enough damage to completely kill any raid member unlucky enough to be caught under her foot, but the impact of her stomp spreading out in all directions was strong enough to completely drain even the strongest equipment’s durability bar. The tanks and DPS closest to where Glenda’s foot landed had been completely disarmed and disrobed.
“Hey, just how am I supposed to deal any damage like this?”
“Oh god. All of our equipment! We’re naked!”
Even wearing Antbrethren equipment whose additional defensive stats according to the size of their party, none of the party members were able to keep their equipment if they were caught in the impact of Glenda walking. In just seconds, everything they wore was stripped off, resulting in the remaining 44 party members running around completely nude.
“T-The game allows this? It’s not just our armor but even the clothes underneath?”
“H-Hey, don’t look!” The shyer members of the all-male party tried to cover their exposed manhoods.
“Tch! Change of plans! Everyone, go on the defensive! Don’t try to block her steps! Get out of her way and evade!” The raid party leader shouted his decision to the party members. If they weren’t going to be able to do damage right now, they had to survive so that they could find an opportunity to attack later.
Evading was not exactly easy for the party members, though. Glenda’s steps cleared far more distance than they ever could at their tiny size. It would take minutes to travel the same distance Glenda could cover in one step. Several mages and clerics couldn’t avoid being crushed under her pure white sandal and the ones that were lucky not to have been stepped on were sent flying by the shockwave, their naked bodies helpless without any armor or weapons.
“This is seriously unfair!” shouted a naked mage.
“That was the best armor from the Dragoon Quest and she destroyed it so easily? I-I’m getting it back after the raid ends, right?” a naked dragoon was worried about whether or not destroyed equipment would return upon raid completion.
“This difficulty spike is way too big,” a naked rogue shouted into the heavens. Every single party member was confused as to what to do. Their attacks were doing 0 damage and Glenda walking around, not even attacking them, was actually enough to kill off 11 out of 50 members without even trying.
“I expected party wiping for new raids, but we’re so close!” scowled a naked cleric who tried to put on some equipment from his inventory. One of the items he was able to put on was an accessory called Eyeglass of Appraisal. “H-huh? Are you kidding me?”
“What is it?”
“Her stats! Our stats! Everyone! This can’t be real. This has to be a bug, right?”
What stats did the cleric see? Obviously, it was the extreme difference between their (formerly-)max level party and the Level 1 giantess shopkeeper.
Glenda
Shopkeeper Level 1
MAX HP: 10,000,000,000,000,000
MAX MP: 5,000,000,000,000,000
STR: 37,400,912,147
VIT: 35,850,123,066
DEX: 41,238,904,472
INT: 40,783,188,870
RES: 39,118,076,982
LUK: 38,096,545,007
In a game where their highest stat possible could be 500, they had never seen anyone have stats in the billions. Even the strongest enemy stats that they had seen before were less than 1000. Glenda’s stats now reflected her larger size better than before which was why her defensive stats had been so great compared to the tiny raid party. They were so small compared to her their strikes were now insignificant to her.
‘Added Realism in Combat’, they realized, meant that Glenda’s stats had been buffed to reflect her size relative to theirs. The fight was absolutely unfair, but even so, the raiders still attempted to continue the fight.
“Hm… Where did I put it…?” When Glenda ducked down to search through her cabinets for something, they saw that her bare feet were completely exposed because she had stepped out of her sandals and got down on all fours to search.
“This looks like an opportunity!”
Heading over the strike, the closest party members who still had equipment on attacked with their strongest skills.
“This has got to do damage now! Blade Storm!”
“Hit her hard! Come on! Steel Hammer her!”
“I’ll get in close! But does it count as a One-Inch Punch at this size?”
Unfortunately to the Swordsmaster, Berserker, and Monk, even their ultimate attacks dealt 0 damage to Glenda’s bare foot.
“What? Are you kidding me? Even here?”
Even at close range, against Glenda’s bare skin, when she wasn’t even paying attention to them making it a surprise back attack, none of their attacks were capable of doing damage. The Monk’s guaranteed critical attack from his ultimate even dealt 0 damage despite showing a highlighted number to signify that he had performed a critical strike.
“Damn. This was a fail- Mgffh!” As the three attackers tried to jump away from Glenda’s foot after failing their attack, they were suddenly engulfed by Glenda suddenly scrunching her toes. “Mgark!”
“Oh no! We’ll get you out!” The raiders nearby tried to help out and ran up to Glenda’s foot, but their three attackers were all completely wiped out and died between Glenda’s toes, taking 999,999,999 damage in a single scrunch. “Damnit… Mgh?! Gak! Cough!”
Suddenly the assisting raid party members started to gag and choke. They had breathed in the scent of Glenda’s feet. “Ngrk… P-Poison? W-wait, isn’t it dropping too fast? Cough! Cough!”
Indeed. The ‘added realism’ in the patch also included giving NPCs like Glenda the ability to sweat and to smell realistically. At their tiny size, the odor of Glenda’s sweaty foot was strong enough to not only Poison them but Heavy Poison them. They lost 10% of their HP every second.
“Cure Circle!” one of the clerics kept their distance to try to heal them before their health hit 0.
“It’s not going away!”
“Of course it’s not! Get away from her foot, you idiot!”
As long as they were close enough to Glenda’s foot, the ever-present scent of her sweat made it so that they would stay Heavy Poisoned. The strength of her foot odor was just too potent for their much tinier bodies.
And Glenda’s foot odor was not the only act of realism nor was it the only obstacle they faced. The nearby tanks and rangers who tried to run up to rescue and retrieve their friends found their feet stuck to Glenda’s sole.
“Huh? What the-? I can’t move!” “Is this a Bind Trap?” “No, it’s just her sweat! It’s so sticky!” “No way! We’ve been Bound to her foot by her sweat?!” ”
The Binding powers of Glenda’s sweat was just as dangerous as the Heavy Poison her foot odor caused. The poisoned tanks and rangers couldn’t escape after failing to rescue their friends, and it got worse when Glenda found what she had been looking for.
Rumble… Whoooosh!
“Uwoah?! W-We’re flipping!” The world turned upside down for the naked tanks and rangers as Glenda stood up and lifted her foot up into the air. She had not actually realized they were on her foot at all. She was simply taking a step away from her cabinets. And that single step treated the captured raiders to a view of the floor getting closer and closer towards them. “No! Nononononono! She can’t do thi-!”
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam!
Just like that, 3 more rangers and 1 more tank died, taking 999,999,999 damage while adhered to the bottom of Glenda’s sole. As for the 2 other tanks, they managed to use an invulnerability skill in time to survive the step, but they still felt the crushing force of Glenda’s full weight coming down onto her foot and slamming them into the floor below.
“Urgh… I-I’m alive…”
“This is terrifying. We need to get out of here.”
“Ngrh… Argh…! H-How? We’re naked and stuck to her skin!”
The two tanks were relieved that they had not been squished to death. Unfortunately for them, this was only the first step. The same nightmarish instance of the floor above their upside down heads approaching them happened once more as Glenda’s foot met with the ground again!
“Nrk! Not again!” The 2 tanks frantically tried to find another skill to be able to survive being stepped on again.
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam!
One of the tanks took 999,999,999 damage, getting squashed because he was unable to find another skill in time to survive the attack. As for the other tank, he managed to survive again, but he was too rattled and dazed from being stepped on twice to continue. He did not have a third invulnerability skill off of cool down either, and, because all Glenda was doing was merely walking instead of attacking, her ‘attack’ continued.
“Damn it-”
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam!
Thus ended the life of another tank, repeatedly flattened under Glenda’s barefoot.
With over half of their party squished to death by Glenda’s sandals and bare feet, the raid party was struggling to maintain their morale.
“Regroup! We’re stronger together. Don’t panic. We just need to figure out what she’s going to do next!” the raid leader advised, trying to give his teammates hope, but to further cement the hopelessness. Glenda finally started her ‘attack’.
RUMBLE…
“Come here you bugs,” the bespectacled shopkeeper pointed the item she had been looking for at the raid party. It was a foggy glass container with a label and an atomizer-type attachment - a spray bottle.
“J-Just what is she doing? Is that a spray bottle?”
“Damnit. We’re really being treated like bugs?”
“I don’t want to get sprayed with a Bug Killer! I’d rather get stepped on instead. At least it’s hotter!”
“Get away! Run!”
Spritz! Spritz!
A simple squeeze of the spray bottle was all Glenda needed to cover the remaining raiders in a sparkly mist. The shiny dust filled cloud that surrounded them looked like glitter or diamond dust. However pretty it looked though, the label on the bottle sent the party members who saw it into despair.
“Fairy Dust Pest Shrinker?
“… Shrinker?”
“N-No. It can’t be. Mini? That’s going to apply Mini on us!”
But it was. The remaining half inch tall raiders felt pressure on their naked bodies. It was as if they were being crushed from all directions. At the same time, the already imposing and enormous world grew bigger and bigger and bigger. The walls and ceilings grew 5 times more distant while Glenda’s monumental body became that much more powerful as their bodies dwindled, compressed, and shrank.
“There. No more bugs. Just specks now,” Glenda’s powerful voice caused the world to tremble. The raiders covered their ears, but two clerics who weren’t able to died from 999,999,999 damage caused by the sonic attack of Glenda’s mere words.
“N-no way. We’re even smaller now!?” the raid leader was in as much disbelief as the remaining survivors. They were now less than 1/10 of an inch tall. As Glenda had said - they were now specks on the floor no bigger than flakes of dust and dirt.
“Are you kidding me? She looks like she’s 5 times bigger. Doesn’t that mean we’re not even a tenth of an inch? I’ve seen pebbles bigger than us!”
“We’re not even bugs anymore. We’re dirt! We’re dust!”
The raiders shouted in panic at their new situation.
The battlefield was an endless brown plain that stretched on for miles. The plain had deep inescapable trenches at regular intervals that they realized were the gaps between the floorboards, but due to their size, the closest trench looked to be a thousand feet away.
Glenda herself was now over 700 times bigger than them. She was over half a mile tall with feet longer than two football fields. She was so high up that they had to crane their necks up to even see the top of her toes, and her long legs stretched into the stratosphere. They couldn’t even see her torso because the canopy of her skirt blocked their view. Glenda looked to be a part of the environment rather than a boss monster. Compared to her, they were now the size of sand grains.
And just like sand, dust, and dirt, Glenda’s simplest act of lifting her foot sent them flying from the hurricane force gust her massive body generated. Her colossal form generated a storm with ease, highlighting just how much overwhelming power she had over them to be able to affect the ‘weather’ they experienced.
“Waaaaaaaaaaah!” they screamed, their tiny squeaks underheard at the feet of the giantess shopkeeper as their naked bodies spiraled through the air.
“What the-?! Is that just her moving?!”
“Brace yourselves, everyone!”
“With what? We’re nake- Blargh!” A nude paladin’s sentence was cut off mid-air when a simple drop of sweat from Glenda’s foot flew out off and hit him, killing him with a salty deluge stronger than the highest tier water spell. A single drop of her sweat was filled with tens of thousands of gallons of salty water meaning that the paladin had been crushed by tons upon tons of water weight rather than drowned by Glenda’s foot sweat.
Dying being crushed by a giant foot or poisoned by toxic stenches was one thing, but to be killed by a single drop of sweat… the difference in size had made it all the more possible for the naked raiders to die in even more humiliating ways.
10 party members remained after being blown away by Glenda’s foot, but 6 ended up landing right by her again. The raiders all found themselves staring up at her mountain sized toes. And unfortunately for a Heavy Armor Guard who had now been stripped of all of their clothes, he was the one closest to Glenda’s pinky toe alongside a naked cleric.
“Uwarrrrgggggh! Get going! I’ll hold this in place for you! Run!” the naked Armor Guard screamed as he held his arms up, attempting to hold up the gigantic mountain sized toe. He had invested all of his points in his strength and endurance and in real life, he prided himself in being able to bench as much as an olympic athlete. However, what he did not know was that Glenda’s pinky toe was not trying to crush him at all. In fact, it wasn’t even on the ground.
Twitch!
“Mgaagghhfff!” With a single twitch of Glenda’s foot, her pinky toe curled. In an instant, the Armor Guard and Cleric were squished to death. Obliterated with the maximum value of damage by a single pinky toe curling.
In the middle of Glenda’s foot, 3 more party members had found themselves trapped between Glenda’s third toe and her second toe.
“What the hell! We’re trapped! Cough! Cough!”
“Cough! Her toes are touching each other. We can’t push them apart! Cough!”
“Urgh… Cough! I-It’s so hot… it burns… it stinks…”
Poison Damage from the concentrated stench of Glenda’s feet took their toll on the trio, but to make matters worse, the heat trapped in the confined space between Glenda’s toes activated the ‘Survival Heat’ mechanic. Unless they cooled down, the health would drain continuously as they suffered from the burning hot, foot odor enveloping them like an inescapable fog. And sadly for them, that would not happen in time.
1 more party member found himself directly under Glenda’s big toe. The enormous mountainous monolith had not hit the floor so he had been squished yet, but he was trapped, completely pinned underneath it. The naked man’s limbs were spread out in all directions, preventing him from making any move. The only thing that could move, however, was one thing he did not want to move - his exposed penis.
“Hnggggh… N-No way… I don’t even like feet… Why am I…?” He was embarrassed as Glenda’s body heat spread from her toe into his body through her proximity to his penis. Even the slightest twitch from him made his dick brush against the enormous toe. Glenda wasn’t even aware of his location nor did she even know him, but despite that, she was dominating the naked raider, forcing him closer and closer to his limit with each passing second that her toe enveloped him. He was going to die crushed underneath her toe, but he was also going to die climaxing from it. “... T-This might not be a bad way to go…”
Glenda’s foot took the lives of the 6 raiders while staying still. With this, Four remained out of the party of 50 members. Within the span of 2 minutes, 46 members had died. The last four: a tank, a mage, a cleric, and the raid party’s leader himself were all that remained.
“J-Just how can we win against this?”
“I think we’re done for. There’s no way we can win like this. Our team’s dropping like flies… No, we’re even lower than flies!”
It was impossible. There was no way they could win. Glenda was no longer a boss enemy in their eyes. She was so large that she was a part of the environment. Was it possible to win against a storm? An earthquake? And volcanic eruption? No. It wasn’t. Glenda was a force of nature that their pitiful forms could never hope to match up against. The remaining four witnessed this first hand as the gargantuan shopkeeper moved again, taking another step.
“... This is it…”
“Oh god. I don’t want to die like this!”
“I would, but this is still going to hurt.”
“S-She’s like a goddess…”
Glenda’s foot hovering above them became an ominous peach colored ceiling that threatened to crush them under thousands of tons of foot flesh. The woman’s toes that had taken the lives of their comrades were mountains that, instead of being a part of the landscape descended upon them like an unavoidable meteor. The world became the color of skin as Glenda moved.
“Noooo! I don’t want to die like this!”
“Run! Run!”
“Face it. Let’s embrace it. At least this will be a hot way to die.”
“This is the end.”
The 4 raiders said their last words, but their squeaks never made it even to the bottom of Glenda’s toes. They couldn’t even be considered insects to the giant shopkeeper. Their small and desperate attempts to flee did not even take them half an inch away from where they started. In the end, they were all still smack dab in the center of the shadow of Glenda’s foot as it fell upon them with an unceremonious boom.
Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam!

The party had been defeated. This was to be expected from running a high difficulty raid for the first time. As frustrating as it was to lose, the raiders went into the fight without minding defeat. However, the sheer ease in which they were so quickly wiped out at the very end was absolutely humiliating to all of them. Still, as experienced raiders, they were a team that would be ready to appear back in the raid gathering area to debrief and talk to each other about their future strategies to fight the boss again.
However, when the party’s eyes opened after the raid ended, they did not find themselves back at the gathering area.
“Urgh… My body still hurts…
”I feel flat and sticky and gross…”
“Huh…? Why are we still naked?””
The defeated raiders woke up in a confused state. To their dismay, their health had not been fully restored upon revival, so they were still suffering from the physical feedback they experienced from being killed by the gigantic Glenda. To make matters worse, their destroyed equipment and weapons had not been restored either. They had lost everything that they had entered the raid battle with. This was the mark of being a loser in Wondela.
However… Were they still in Wondela?
“Wait, Where are we…?”
“Why can’t I move…?”
Looking around, the raid party found their limbs adhered to a strange peach colored wall. Some of them had their faces pressed into it, others were upside down, and several more were stuck in weird positions. If they tried to look away from the wall, all they could see was the color white, so none of them were able to see where they were. However, seeing was just one sense that they had.
“Mgfff… T-This wall tastes like a foot…”
“That foot stench is still in my nose… No wait… It’s everywhere?”
“No. It can’t be…!”
RUMBLE! RUMBLE!
“H-Huh? Waaaaaaah!”
The world around the raiders trembled and shook. The white wall that was in front of them suddenly fell, plummeting down, down, and down below into a blurry brown colored abyss. What they were able to see now was, unfortunately for them, very difficult to distinguish.
Not only was everything so distant, but there was also a strange haze surrounding them. While they could not make out their surroundings, the smell of the haze in their noses made it clear to them exactly where they were. And even without that smell, a deafening thunder boomed in their ears with a familiar tone.
“Hm~Hm~! No customers today? How boring.” Glenda’s voice echoed from above and pounded the tiny raiders’ ears.
“W-We’re still on that boss’s foot?”
“This massive wall’s her foot? I can’t even see an end to it. How big is it? How small are we?”
The 50 raid members had revived to find that they were all adhered to Glenda’s sweaty left sole. While many of them had died before Glenda had sprayed them with the shrinking fairy dust, it appeared that they had all respawned at the same size of 1/10th of an inch tall. Their speck sized bodies were stuck to Glenda’s foot with the rest of the speck sized dust, dirt, and sand grains.
“What the heck is going on? Why aren’t we back at the gathering area?”
“I don’t know!”
“Hey, wait. Everyone. Look at your HP values!”
“What?”
HP: 0 [iNc4p….Ac1….Tat3…….d]
When the raid members opened up their health bar UI’s, they were even more confused. The number that their HPs all read was 0. They had no HP. Didn’t that mean that they were all still considered dead? Wondela Online prevented players from moving when their HP was 0 until they were revived, so that explained why they weren’t able to move, but then why were they able to talk to each other? Moreover, the word incapacitated was glitched and the HP bar started to flash and fade.
“We’re still incapacitated. Is this a bug?”
“Hey, my HP bar is disappearing. What’s going on? This is some seriously weird glitch.”
“Hey, the other menus aren’t opening either. What’s going on? We can’t log out. Is it because the game still thinks we’re in the middle of the battle?”
The 50 members tried to think of solutions and answers to the questions that they had to try and reassure themselves. They earnestly believed that Glenda would soon despawn.
“Are we going to be stuck here until something happens to free us?”
“It’s fine. The raid boss is just an NPC. The battle’s over so they’re going to despawn and we’ll be free.”
“Yeah. You’re right. The fight’s over, so this’ll happen soon, right?”
However, ten minutes passed….
Then forty minutes…
Then one full hour…
The 50 members found themselves, slowly going mad and losing hope as they realized their assumption was wrong. Glenda was not despawning.
“What’s going on? Isn’t she just an NPC?”
“Wait, come to think of it… Didn’t the word ‘NPC’ disappear from her name after the patch update?”
“What’s that supposed to mean? NPCs don’t just magically become players.”
To keep themselves from going stir-crazy from being stuck to Glenda’s sole as she sat at the counter of her shop waiting for customers, the defeated raiders tried to fill the dead air with questions, possible answers, and theories to try to understand what was going on. To make matters worse, as frustrated as they were, they weren’t able to log out of the game either. They could only suffer smelling Glenda’s foot odor while stuck to her sole by her sweat as the shopkeeper minded the storefront.
And then suddenly… Before any of the 50 members could even react, their world blurred as they were accelerated downwards towards the ground at speeds that would make a fighter jet pilot pass out.
WHHHHHHHHHHHHhHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMM!!!!
“Uwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrgh!!!” “NGAK!” “GWARGH!” “MGRFFF!!!”
All 50 one-tenth of an inch tall raiders were instantly slammed into the floor below when Glenda hopped off her high chair and landed on the floor. Millions of tons crushed and flattened their miniscule bodies. Because their HP was 0, they did not die, but because they did not die, they did not feel the sweet relief of escaping the feeling of being crushed under the foot of a woman over 700 times their size.
“I’m getting no customers today. Maybe I’ll close up early and go see Judith. I need to get more bug spray from her too,” Glenda spoke to nobody in particular, but her powerful voice was heard by 50 people unbeknownst to her. However, all 50 listeners were unable to comprehend a single thing she said because her voice was muffled through her plush sole.
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!!
“Gargh!”
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!!
“It hurts!”
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!!
“Please stop!”
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!!
“Have mercy!”
The shrunken raiders cried in pain and pleaded to the heavens as every step Glenda took flattened each of them. There was no escaping her sweaty sole, and while she did slip on her sandal, being ground into her sandal was just as painful as being slammed into the floor. The raiders’ felt every impact which pounded their hopelessness and pitifulness into their souls. They were making their pleas to Glenda as if she were a god.
But Glenda was still no true god to them… not yet at least.
Glenda finally arrived at her destination, the storefront of her friend Judith.
“Judith. I’ve been having a bunch of bug infestations lately. Do you have any more Bug Shrinker that I can restock on?”
“Glenda! Good to see you. Of course I have more. Come on in. Pardon all the fairy dust.”
Upon entering the store of the apothecary Judith, Glenda’s sandal scattered dust from the floor all over. Unfortunately to the tiny raid party members, this dust was actually the same Fairy Dust Bug Shrinker powder that Glenda had sprayed on them earlier. The moment their tiny bodies came into contact with the dust, the world around them began to grow again.
“N-No way! We’re getting smaller again?!”
“Noooooooo! Someone make it stop!”
“Everyone! Stay togeth…”
Unfortunately, there was no way to stop the shrinking nor stay together. As the tiny raiders were adhered to separate parts on Glenda’s sole, they shrank and shrank and shrank until being an inch away from each other became feet and then yards away from each other.
Smaller and smaller they became. Unable to die, they were flattened between Glenda’s sole and her sandal. The wrinkles in her foot smothered and buried them. At the same time, the scent of her foot surrounded them and enveloped them.
The odor of Glenda’s foot was strong and omnipresent. To the raiders’ confusion, however, the smaller they got the less poisonous the aroma became.
“... What’s… going on…? This smells… nice…?”
”My body… It’s hot… It’s so hot breathing this fog in… It’s so thick… What is it…?
These were Glenda’s pheromones. Normally imperceivable, at their even smaller size, the effects of Glenda’s pheromones became prevalent. The intoxicating aroma surrounded them, caressed them, and numbed their minds, dulling their senses. The only thing that became hard for them was their penises.
“Ngggnnnhhhhh”
“Hwaaaaaaah!”
“Aaaghgaaah!”
Hot semen shot out of their miniscule and still dwindling bodies uncontrollably. Though they were unable to move while stuck to Glenda’s sweaty foot and ground beneath her sole, their bodies reached their breaking points repeatedly. They ejaculated once… twice… three times… and even more.
Glenda’s enormous body had defeated them. Her sweaty sole had restricted them. And the pheromones in her feets’ odor controlled them.
“So you’ve got bug problems, huh Glenda?” Judith asked from behind the counter of her shop.
“Yes. I used to get a bunch of bigger bugs, but they’ve been getting smaller lately, so I’m a bit thankful for that,” Glenda nodded and leaned forward on her apothecary friend’s counter. “I still want some more Bug Shrinker just in case, though. I need to remove every bug that shows up in my shop to make sure none of them ever come back.”
“Well, you’ve come to the right, girl. If you’ve got bug problems, my potions will shrink them all away for you. Recently, I’ve been adding an ingredient that’s been said to come from another world. Apparently, it’s supposed to grow back non-pests in a few hours which would be great in case you accidentally spray the wrong thing.”
“Accident-proofing your products? That’s smart of you, Judith. But you added that into your Bug Shrinker recipe, Judith? Does it help?”
“It should, but I’m not sure what’s considered a pest and a non-pest since it’s not like the spray works on us.”
“The effect sounds so specific that it feels too good to be true too.”
“Well, other worlds don’t exist after all, so who knows if that ingredient’s effect is real or not. I just used it to make it smell better. It does, right, Glenda?”
“Well, I suppose it does smell pleasant and refreshing. And you’re right. There’s only one world: Ours.”
The laughter of the giants high above the tiny raid party reverberated and shook their very existence to their tiny souls.
“T-This isn’t a game anymore… is it?” The raid party leader questioned what could possibly be the truth. The NPCs too had never been programmed elaborately enough to let them go out of their shops to interact with other NPCs like friends. And there was no way an MMO game would allow them to ejaculate nonstop at the foot of a gigantic shopkeeper. There was no game UI anymore. There was no log out button anymore. They could feel everything that they were experiencing and it was all too real to them.
Unfortunately, it was too late to do anything even after they realized this. They had shrunken down too far. Their world was no longer Earth nor was it the world of Wondela where Glenda lived. Their world now consisted of only Glenda’s foot, and that was how it would be from now on.
