The staples are not a choice. Also: I will share something that may help you re-think the unlikable characters of this show. One thing that MHA does well is to accurately portray the thoughts and ideas of people who are typically misunderstood in life. With those characters, they end up being some of my favorites by the time all is said and done. Not because they are good people, or even likable. It's because they show their true colors in a way that helps them (and the viewer) grow. In fact, shows like this might be the catalyst to helping some people realize and grow irl. One of the reasons I really enjoy this show.
