A few words on this animation:)
The weekly theme was "Ropes and bondage", so I wanted to deliver it also in the way I drew the act, not only in the act itself. I didn't draw the bottom participant's feet and hands, as a symbol of non-agentivity. I personally like being tied to experience lack of control and that's what not drawing hands and feet meant to me: a symbol of renounced agentivity. Moreover, their body starts and begins where the ropes start and begin, as a way to show their full commitment to the act, and to deliver themselves to the active partner: in that moment they only exist within the ropes' frame.
As why I didn't draw the faces: active and bottom participants are roles, and they do not define the people involved, nor their relationship. I wanted the act to be depersonalized in such a way to deliver the idea that we are not necessarily either one of them, but we can be both and see ourselves in both roles. That's why also no nipples or breasts or genitals are visible: to make the scene the most neutral as possible w.r.t. identity, and let anyone be free to imagine themselves in whatever role they want, as I too, for instance, like to experience both sides of this dynamic ✨
Hope you enjoyed these few lines on "behind the scenes" ❤️ Let me know if you want me to keep adding few words to my art from time to time 😊
