I just made it back from Japan, many thing I can say about that country including that Kyoto it is the cleanest and more charming city I've ever seen. In Tokyo I did something I wanted to do since a while ago: have a shoot with a Japanese model and have a real language barrier. So I contacted a Japanese model that I've had in my radar since a couple of years ago, the multi-talented Otama Bomber. She is a singer, actress, model and voice actress, who has done some Japanese DiD, which is very similar to what I do: lighthearted and clean style so when I contacted her (using Google Translate) for this shoot she accepted. This was one, or the most interesting shoot I've ever had, Otama is a very intelligent girl so she followed exactly my instructions even when there was a language barrier of almost 95% but it never felt like that, it was almost as easy as direct a video with my models in the US.
Japanese people are extremely solemn and grateful people, it was very interesting to work with her and being treated in such a respectful and solemn way, I don't know how to explain it but she treated me with a respect that is not usual in the West. At one point I took my jacket off and I was wearing a Japan t-shirt, when Otama saw it she thanked me and did a small reverence, that's the kind of details I mean, they are very solemn people. I loved this experience and I loved Japan! Here is the photoset of the first video we did, hope you enjoy it!
