Did some more work on the book tonight. Since there was already a section about generators, it was a great excuse to sneak in an extra bit about "distance models", a fairly obscure little nugget from the great theorist Erno Lendvai.
Screen captures attached. Enjoy! And... send me feedback!
I hope it isn't necessary to explain what the Golden Section or Fibonacci are? That seems like prerequisite knowledge that is far enough out of scope of the topic that if someone isn't aware of those terms, they can easily look them up elsewhere.
Also today, I learned a few new names that I've added to the scale detail pages. And discovering more names that are incorrect - that's a bummer. Most of the errata are being pointed out in youtube comments, or via email from people who have discovered the Exciting Universe through the Youtube Channel. A lot of people seem to enjoy learning stuff from videos! Personally I'm more of a reader... I'll always prefer skimming a document rather than waiting through a video on a topic... but I get it.
As always, huge gratitude to you all for your patronage.
Be safe & well,
Ian
