Added 2020-09-08 04:51:26 +0000 UTCThis month has been... complex. Without going into detail, it just means I don't have free time to spend on developing music theory stuff, and even my work on the book has been on hold.
That said, I'm grateful that Patreon is still earning enough to cover the cost of my web hosting. Even though I'm not actively working on new content, I'm still hosting all those scale detail pages, and the complex PHP scripts that make them work! So, thank you everyone for keeping the lights on. It means a lot to me that there are enough people willing to drop a buck-a-month, or more, to help me with those expenses.
I really do hope that in October, November, and beyond... that things calm down and/or shuffle priorities such that I can give more attention to working on the scale book, the web resources, and the youtube channel.
FYI, the website is getting about 3,000 page views per month. The Youtube channel is getting around 10,100 video plays per month, racking up about 285 hours of play time; it currently has 3,756 subscribers and has increased by 274 subscribers in the past month. The most popular video is the "Pythagorean Comma" video... and the next most popular is "Scale 3507: Maqam Hijaz".
