It seems like a long time since I posted anything here. Much has been happening. As always, the website with all the scale data is up and running, and for that I thank my patrons because your contributions cover the whole cost of the hosting! Thank you - because of your help that's one less bill that I need to worry about covering.
The latest thing going on is that I've been working directly with the brilliant scholar Neils Verosky to introduce "hierarchizability" data to the website and to my book. In doing that I designed a cool visualization that shows the recursive groupings and remainders. He has consented to his ideas being included in my public materials, and in return I've given him license to use my diagrams in his work. It's a win-win.
Interested in learning more about that? Check out the original academic paper where Neils describes it.

I have been doing a lot of work on the book. Several times a week I will spend a couple of hours chipping away at it, preparing diagrams or writing content, or just basic researching. There is so much detail, and I want everything to be perfect and accurate, so I'm putting a ton of diligence into verifying facts, organizing citations, and crafting unit tests to make sure all my calculated stuff is precise and correct. I'm still discovering new things to add.
I hope you are all doing well and staying safe, healthy, and happy.
Cheers, Ian
