We watch the first episode of Love In The Flesh, a show in which photogenic but extremely online young people who have, supposedly, only dated on the internet, meet each other in real life on a tropical Island. The show marries the aesthetics of Love Island with the slight unhinged-ness of Catfish, to convey what happens when you're extremely online, but in a specific, commercialised way, and also how one might navigate being online differently if they're also extremely attractive.

2022-05-23 18:02:51 +0000 UTCExcellent episode, I have been hoping you would do something like this As so much of the collective *posting* is taken up by shows like this that cause obsession for whole summers, as well as breaking off people who will go on to become main characters, I do think it is important to do a deep dive into them and why people go on them. Really looking forward to the rest of this series
