2023-07-17 15:37:00 +0000 UTCPhoebe to properly check an avocado what you have to do is first check the firmness like normal, then if it feels ripe you pull out the stem at the top, if it's bright green under the stem, your avocado is ready to eat that day! If it's brownish it's sadly too late for that one If it's firm and you want to save it, put it in the fridge to keep it that way longer. Leave it out on the counter the night before you want it so it'll ripen.
