Posting Through The Housing Crisis Pt. 2, ft. Rebecca Wilks
Added 2022-12-16 11:49:31 +0000 UTCRebecca (@wilksbecca) joins us again for part two of our special series on Landlord Posting.
On this episode, we talk about what 'makes' a Landlord poster, from the constant feeling of victimhood, to upholding the warped myths of history that make Landlords just as important as the Troops. We discuss how Landlord posting has borrowed from 'rise and grind' posting on TikTok and LinkedIn to try promote themselves as intrepid entrepreneurs, only to stumble at the first hurdles the moment they're asked if hoarding assets with cheap debt necessarily counts as "smart finance".

I've been saying for a while we should be able to reach the "everyman" landlord type, that they should be freed from the burden of having to need passive income and having a tenant. They clearly don't enjoy being a landlord, they just want the money. If they have the money to live a decent life without being a landlord then it's a win-win, right?
